A suspender for a brushcutter has a shoulder belt and a support member removably connected to the shoulder belt. A hook member has a link removably hooked to the support member, a hook part integrally connected to the link, a cover having a folded portion that is removably hooked on the link and a pair of projections extending from opposite sides of the folded portion, and an elastic piece having a base end part from which a fixing part extends and which is removably hung on the cover with the projections of the cover folded so that the fixing part is interposed between the folded portion and projections of the cover. A stopper member maintains the link of the hook member removably hooked to the support member.

Suspender for brushcutter

Cylinder mounting mechanism is provided in a working machine for mounting thereto a cylinder case having a cassette gas cylinder accommodated therein. Mouthpiece support section is provided in the mounting mechanism for supporting a mouthpiece portion of the cassette gas cylinder in the cylinder case. Fitting recessed portion is provided in one end portion of the cylinder case and capable of receiving the mouthpiece support section, the fitting recessed portion being defined by an inner peripheral wall part of the one end portion that has a tapering wall thickness such that the surface of the wall part slants gradually outwardly toward the distal end of the fitting recessed portion.

Cassette gas cylinder mounting structure

A work machine to which a cassette gas cylinder is detachably attached is disclosed. The cassette gas cylinder is accommodated inside a gas cylinder case. The gas cylinder case for accommodating the cassette gas cylinder is detachably attached to the work machine so that the gas cylinder case wherein the cassette gas cylinder is accommodated can be transported together with the cylinder.

An operation-control lever unit for regulating engine power of an engine-powered working machine to control operation of a working tool includes a throttle-lever holding mechanism operative in response to pivotal movement of a lock lever in a locking direction to frictionally hold the throttle lever at a desired position. The throttle-lever holding mechanism includes a stationary cam formed integrally with the head portion of the operator's control handle for the machine, a movable cam on the lock lever and cooperating with the stationary cam to displace the lock lever along a support shaft in a direction away from the stationary cam, and a resilient member disposed behind the movable cam and resiliently urging the movable cam toward the stationary cam.

Operation-control lever unit for engine-powered working machine

A knapsack type working machine has a first frame and a second frame. A prime mover for driving a working instrument is carried on the first frame. The second frame has a back pad and shoulder straps. The first frame and the second frame are separable from each other. The first frame has a locking engagement member. The second frame engages with the locking engagement member and has a pivotal locking member urged by a spring in a direction of engagement with the locking engagement member. By releasing the locking engagement member from engagement with the pivotal locking member, the first frame is separated from the second frame.

Knapsack type working machine

A riding-type lawn mower has a cutter housing with a rear discharge slot defined in a rear wall thereof. The cutter housing accommodates a pair of cutter blades laterally spaced from each other and rotatable in a substantially horizontal plane. The cutter blades are arranged such that the cutter blade on the righthand side as viewed in a forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable clockwise as viewed in plan and the cutter blade on the lefthand side as viewed in the forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable counterclockwise as viewed in plan. The cutter housing has an upper wall that has a pair of laterally spaced portions raised upwardly and defining respective discharge passages in the cutter housing that lead to the rear discharge slot. Rotative power from a lawn mower engine is transmitted to the cutter blades by a belt-and-pulley mechanism disposed on a low flat portion defined between the raised portions of upper wall. The cutter housing has a scroll-shaped discharge guide for guiding grass clippings smoothly into the rear discharge slot.

A riding lawn mower comprises a frame supported by wheels, a mower housing carried at the underside of the frame, a plurality of cutter blades located within the mower housing to cut grass, a collection bag mounted on the rear of the frame, a discharge chute extending between the mower housing and the collection bag and defining a clipping path from the cutter blades into the collection bag, a blower including an impeller housing attached to the mower housing and an impeller located within the impeller housing and cooperating with the butter blades to convey the grass clippings into the collection bag through the discharge chute. A short conduit connects the impeller housing to the upstream end of the discharge chute to conduct an air generated by the impeller into the discharge chute. A central axis of the conduit is offset downwardly from a central axis of the discharge chute.
