A plate spring is attached to the distal-end portion of a piston. The distance Lbetween the distal-end portion of a plunger and a core (recessed portion) that faces the distal-end portion of the plunger is set to be shorter than the distance Lbetween the distal-end portion (plate spring) of the piston and the projecting end surface of a valve main body that faces the distal-end portion of the piston with drive of a solenoid portion stopped. Consequently, when the solenoid portion is driven, the plate spring collides against the projecting end surface of the valve main body so that the plunger does not collide against the core. As a result, a shock applied to the piston can be absorbed by the elastic force of the plate spring, which suppresses generation of a sound of collision.

Electromagnetic pump

A spool valve that has a hollow portion formed with an input port, a first output port, and a second output port, and a spool capable of sliding within the hollow portion and having a plurality of lands, the spool valve being configured to distribute output for input to the input port to the first output port and the second output port in accordance with a proportion of distribution that matches a position of the spool. An opening of the second output port is formed in such a shape that a width of the opening becomes gradually smaller in a direction of movement of the spool in which distribution of the output to the first output port is increased.

A control device for a transmission including m (m&#x2267;3) solenoid valves and configured to establish a plurality of shift speeds by engaging n1 (2&#x2266;n1&#x3c;m) engagement elements using hydraulic pressures of n1 solenoid valves among the m solenoid valves. A current threshold setting unit sets respective currents to be applied to solenoids of n2 (n1&#x3c;n2&#x2266;m) solenoid valves corresponding to n2 engagement elements at the time when braking torque acts on an output shaft of the transmission with the n2 engagement elements engaged as current thresholds. A determination unit determines whether or not braking torque is generated on the output shaft of the transmission by comparing respective current values to be applied to the solenoids of the n2 solenoid valves and the set current thresholds corresponding to the solenoids of the n2 solenoid valves.

Control device for transmission and braking torque generation determination method for transmission

A hydraulic control device includes a lock-up control valve that regulates a line pressure to generate a control pressure, and a lock-up relay valve that switches between paths through which a hydraulic pressure is supplied to and discharged from a torque converter. The lock-up relay valve is formed to be capable of switching between a path that connects between a control pressure oil passage to which the control pressure is output and a lock-up oil passage communicated with a lock-up oil chamber and that connects between a control pressure oil passage to which the control pressure is output and a circulation input oil passage communicated with a converter oil chamber, and a path that blocks connection between the control pressure oil passage and the lock-up oil passage and that blocks connection between the control pressure oil passage and the circulation input oil passage.

In a hydraulic control device, when a solenoid pressure from a linear solenoid valve is not supplied to a brake, which is normally not engaged at the same time as a brake, not to engage the brake, a switching valve is supplied with a line pressure as a signal pressure for establishing a blocked/discharge state in which supply of the solenoid pressure to the brake is blocked and a hydraulic pressure can be discharged from the brake. When the solenoid pressure is supplied to the brake to engage the brake, the switching valve is supplied with a modulator pressure, which is lower than the line pressure, as a signal pressure for establishing a communicated state in which the solenoid pressure can be supplied to the brake.

A power transmission apparatus mounted on a vehicle is provided with a motor that transmits power from the motor to an axle through a friction engagement element. The power transmission apparatus is further configured with a mechanical pump that pressure-feeds a fluid to a fluid pressure servo for the friction engagement element, and an electric pump that pressure-feeds the fluid to the fluid pressure servo of the friction engagement element. Furthermore, a lubrication supply passage is configured to connect to a flow passage extending from the electric pump to the fluid pressure servo. A first valve switches between opening and closing the lubrication supply passage such that, during a stop of the motor, so as to supply the fluid to the fluid pressure servo when in a driving position, and to the component to be lubricated when shifted to a neutral position.

Power transmission apparatus

A hydraulic control device used in an automatic transmission includes an oil pump, a working pressure regulating portion, a first lubricant supply passage, a lockup switch mechanism, and a second lubricant supply passage. The oil pump is driven in accordance with rotation of a driving source. The working pressure regulating portion regulates a working pressure based on an oil pressure generated by the oil pump. The first lubricant supply passage supplies a back pressure of the working pressure to a lubricant passage. The lockup switch mechanism turns on/off a lockup clutch of the automatic transmission by switching a supply/discharge path of the working pressure to/from a fluid transmission apparatus of the automatic transmission. The second lubricant supply passage supplies the working pressure to the lubricant passage and is disconnected when a lockup clutch of the automatic transmission is turned on by the lockup switch mechanism.

Hydraulic control device for automatic transmission

A hydraulic control apparatus including a gain switch section switching a gain of a line pressure adjustment valve between a first range gain that is less than 1 and a second range gain that is greater than or equal to 1, and a source pressure switching valve switching a source pressure for a working pressure adjustment valve that outputs the control pressure for the line pressure adjustment valve between the line pressure and a modulator pressure is disclosed. The source pressure switching valve switches the source pressure for the working pressure adjustment valve to the line pressure when the gain switching section switches the gain of the line pressure adjustment valve to the first range gain, and switches the source pressure for the working pressure adjustment valve to the modulator pressure when the gain switching section switches the gain of the line pressure adjustment valve to the second range gain.

A hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission, including: a hydraulic pressure source; a plurality of friction engagement elements; a line pressure regulating valve that regulates hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pressure source to a predetermined line pressure; a plurality of operation pressure regulating valves that regulate the line pressure as operation pressure for a hydraulic servo operating a friction engagement element; a maximum pressure conducting circuit that feeds a maximum pressure, among the operation pressures, to the line pressure regulating valve, wherein the friction engagement elements are engaged and released to achieve a plurality of forward speeds and a reverse speed, and the line pressure regulating valve regulates the line pressure during forward travel based on the maximum operation pressure, and regulates the line pressure during reverse travel based on the operation pressure input from a specific operation pressure regulating valve.
