A method for producing a binder resin by a reaction of a cellulose derivative, a polyvinyl acetal, and a bonding agent that has in the molecule at least two functional groups that can react to hydroxyl groups in the polyvinyl acetal and the cellulose derivative. In the production method, the content of the bonding agent is at least double the molar quantity of whichever has the greater number of moles between the polyvinyl acetal and the cellulose derivative. The produced binder resin is favorable in a coating paste such as a conductive paste, and causes an improvement in film quality such as the smoothness and denseness of a coating film formed by the paste.

Provided is a solid electrolytic capacitor element which is reduced in ESR deterioration due to thermal shock and suppressed in variation in ESR changes, while having good initial characteristics of ESR. This solid electrolytic capacitor element is provided, on the surface of an anode body, with at least a dielectric layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a carbon layer that contains a first resin component and a conductive layer that contains a second resin component. Both of the first resin component and the second resin component have a hydroxyl group, and the difference &#x394;&#x3b3;(=&#x3b3;&#x2212;&#x3b3;) between the hydrogen-bonding component value &#x3b3;[mN/m] of the carbon layer surface and the hydrogen-bonding component value &#x3b3;[mN/m] of the conductive layer surface is within the range of &#x2212;3&#x2266;&#x394;&#x3b3;&#x2266;3 [mN/m].

Solid electrolytic capacitor element, method for manufacturing same, and conductive paste

A conductive paste for a terminal electrode of a multilayer ceramic electronic part, comprising (A) a spherical conductive powder which comprises chiefly copper, and which has a vitreous thin film on at least a portion of the surfaces thereof, (B) a flaky conductive powder comprising chiefly copper, (C) a glass powder, and (D) an organic vehicle, and may further contain (E) an aliphatic amine. When baked to form terminal electrodes for multilayer ceramic electronic parts, this paste exhibits extremely superior binder removal characteristics at low temperatures, and furthermore, it is superior in terms of oxidation resistance, binder removal characteristics and firing characteristics with no need for strict control of the firing conditions, thereby dense terminal electrodes that are superior in terms of adhesion and conductivity can be formed.
