The present disclosure relates to hydrosilylation curable silicone rubber compositions having polyorganosiloxane cross-linkers containing at least two or at least three terminal silicon bonded hydrogen groups and one or more hydrosilylation cure inhibitor compounds selected from multiacrylates having at least three acrylate groups per molecule. Cured products resulting from the cure of such compositions and which may include elastomeric products are also disclosed. A hydrosilylation curable silicone composition comprises: (A) one or more polyorganosiloxanes containing at least two unsaturated groups per molecule, which unsaturated groups are selected from alkenyl and alkynyl groups and having a viscosity in a range of 1,000 to 200,000 mPa·s at 25° C.; (B) a polyorganosiloxane containing at least two terminal silicon bonded hydrogen groups; (C) at least one hydrosilylation catalyst; and (D) a hydrosilylation cure inhibitor comprising a multiacrylate compound having at least three acrylate groups per molecule.

Hydrosilylation cure inhibitors and use thereof

A silicone rubber composition is disclosed. The silicone rubber composition comprises: (A) an organosiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in each molecule; (B) a silica filler; (C) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms in each molecule; (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and (F) an adhesion promoter. Component (B) is prepared by surface-treating a silica filler with (E) a surface treatment agent in the presence of part or all of component (A). The silicone rubber composition generally exhibits excellent adhesion to various organic resins in contact during curing while simultaneously exhibiting excellent mold releasability with respect to a mold used for the molding thereof.

Silicone rubber composition and composite obtained using the same

A silicone rubber composition comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule and free of an aryl group; (B) (B-1) an organosiloxane having in a molecule at least one aryl group, at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom, and free of an alkenyl group, or a mixture of components (B-1) and (B-2) an organosiloxane having in a molecule at least one aryl group and at least one alkenyl group; (C) an acrylic compound or a methacrylic compound; (D) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule and free of an aryl group and an alkenyl group; and (E) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. The silicone rubber composition exhibits excellent adhesive properties with respect to diverse organic resins it comes into contact with during its cure, and at the same time possesses excellent mold-release properties with respect to metal dies used for its molding.

Silicone rubber composition and composite made therefrom

A two-part curable liquid silicone rubber composition comprises a first liquid composition and a second liquid composition. The first and second liquid compositions are stored separately and yield, upon mixing, a silicone rubber forming composition. The silicone rubber composition comprises: (A) an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane comprising (A-1) an organopolysiloxane having only a silicon-bonded alkenyl group at each molecular terminal and (A-2) an organopolysiloxane having from 1 to 4 silicon-bonded alkenyl groups in side molecular chains and containing not greater than 2.0 wt. % of alkenyl groups; (B) a calcium carbonate powder; (C) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and (D) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms.
