A tool for predicting communication patterns and availability on one or more computer devices. The tool allocates an incoming mail identification to the incoming mail. The tool determines a location of origin for the incoming mail based, at least in part, on domain information and information from an address book. The tool determines one or more holidays, a day of a week, and a time of day utilizing a sending timestamp from the location of origin. The tool determines a sending tendency for the sender identification. The tool determines a response prediction rate for a per-determined timeframe based, at least in part, on the one or more holidays, the day of the week, the time of day and the sending tendency for the sender identification. The tool displays the response prediction rate and the sending tendency in one or more pop-up dialog windows.

Predicting recipient communication patterns and availability

Within a first image in a set of images comprising a panoramic view of a scene, a first boundary feature is identified using a model. Within the first boundary feature, a first set of points is selected. Within a second image in the set of images, a second boundary feature is identified using the model. Within the second boundary feature, a second set of points is selected. A set of parameters of a geometrical shape including the first set of points and the second set of points is determined. From the first image and the second image, a panoramic image is formed, the first image placed within the panoramic image according to the position of the first image on the geometrical shape, the second image placed in the panoramic image according to the position of the second image on the geometrical shape.

A first user input event initiating a transition of a GUI from a first state to a second state is generated in response to detecting a first user input received by the GUI. A first spatial location in the GUI selected by the first user input can be identified. If the level of discontinuity does not exceed a threshold value, at least one user input event handling process can be selected to process the second user input event based on the level of discontinuity not exceeding the discontinuity threshold value.

The method comprises calculating, using a dynamic programming matching, a distance between an install-and-configuration log generated by executing the install and configuration of the software according to the guide document at a user-side computer and a log template generated by executing the install and configuration of the software according to the guide document at an administrator-side computer, and finding a problem in the procedures, using the distance.

Finding a problem in procedures described in a guide document

A method, system and computer program product for assisting users to execute content in a user's computing environment. A user copying and pasting content from a first electronic document is detected, where the content is set as a first character string. Furthermore, the modification of the copied content is detected, where the modification includes modification of parameters of the user's computing environment to implement execution of the copied content and the modified copied content is set as a second character string. The first and second character strings as well as the modification points are registered in a repository. The modification points include the modified parameters of the first user's computing environment. By matching the character string copied by a second user from a second electronic document with one of the registered character strings, the second user may be presented with the modification points associated with the matching character string.

Assisting users to execute content copied from electronic document in user's computing environment

A method and apparatus are provided to support autonomic computing for system configuration. Common base events (CBEs) are generated and, based upon system configuration, are employed to monitor system resources and to resolve system configuration conflicts prior to an error. A symptom database stores a set of rules for the configuration information. The configurations CBEs for the system configuration are compared with the symptom rules, and any discrepancies between the two elements are communicated to a user prior to an occurrence of an error in the system. Accordingly, an autonomic computer system is provided to support system configuration data.
