The vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion; a seat back; a lifter link mechanism wherein the seat cushion is displaced by a sector gear being displaced; and a speed reducer-equipped motor including a pinion gear engaging with the sector gear; and a first and second restriction portions that stop the rotation of the pinion gear to one side. The sector gear is displaced to one side by the pinion gear being rotated to one side. The displacement of the sector gear to one side is stopped by the rotation of the pinion gear to one side being stopped by the first and second restriction portions. The sector gear is displaced to the other side by the pinion gear being rotated to the other side. The rotation of the pinion gear to the other side is stopped by the displacement of the sector gear to the other side being restricted.

Vehicle seat

A DC motor is configured so that, while either one of a pair of power feeding brushes makes contact with two commutator segments, the other makes contact with only one of two commutator segments. The DC motor is further provided with: a plurality of coils; a filter unit; and a calculation unit. The number of turns of a predetermined coil among the plurality of coils is different from the numbers of turns of the other coils. The filter unit allows the passing of the waveform of current generated on the basis of the fact that the numbers of turns are different from each other, and interrupts the waveform of current generated at the switching of the states of the contacts of the power feeding brushes to the commutator segments. The calculation unit calculates a rotational speed from the waveform passed through the filter unit.

DC motor

An actuator and a vehicle operation system with the actuator. The actuator includes a housing unit composed of a combination of internal components including a motor, a housing and a cover. A pair of terminals conveys external power to the motor. A terminal holder holds die pair of terminals. The terminal holder is accommodated in the housing unit as a sub-assembly separately from the housing unit.

A speed reducer including: a first gear; an eccentric shaft joined to the first gear, the eccentric shaft has first and second supporting portions offset in a rotation radial direction with respect to a first gear rotation shaft; a fixed gear at an eccentric shaft radial direction outer side, and whose rotation is restricted; a transmitting gear supported at the first supporting portion and meshes with the fixed gear, and the transmitting gear revolves around the first gear rotation shaft and rotates around its own axis; an outputting portion rotating due to the transmitting gear revolving and rotating around its own axis; and a locking gear supported at the second supporting portion and meshes with the fixed gear, and the locking gear revolves around the first gear rotation shaft and rotates around its own axis, and rotation of the outputting portion is restricted.

Speed reducer and motor with speed reducer

A gear reducer has a helical gear, an eccentric shaft that is joined to the helical gear and has a first supporting portion that is offset in a rotation radial direction with respect to a rotation shaft of the helical gear, and a slider plate that is disposed at a radial direction outer side of the eccentric shaft. Further, the gear reducer has a transmitting gear that is supported at a first supporting portion, and whose rotation around its own axis is restricted due to the transmitting gear being engaged with the slider plate, and that revolves due to the helical gear rotating together with the eccentric shaft, and has an output gear body that rotates due to the transmitting gear revolving. The transmitting gear has a pair of restricting projections that project-out toward the slider plate side, and the slider plate is disposed between the pair of restricting projections.

Gear reducer and gearmotor

A joint structure includes a drive side insertion portion of a drive shaft, a driven side insertion portion of a driven shaft, and a coupling. The coupling includes a drive shaft insertion bore, which receives the drive side insertion portion, and a driven shaft insertion bore, which receives the driven side insertion portion. The drive shaft insertion bore includes a wall surface that engages the drive side insertion portion. The driven shaft insertion bore includes a wall surface that engages the driven side insertion portion. A drive side clearance in the drive shaft insertion bore allows the drive side insertion portion to move in the radial direction. A driven side clearance in the driven shaft insertion bore allows the driven side insertion portion to move in the radial direction.

Joint structure, clutch, and motor

A clutch including a drive shaft, drive side rotation body, driven shaft, driven side rotation body, clutch housing, and lock member is disclosed. During non-rotation of the drive side rotation body, when the driven side rotation body is rotated, the lock member is pushed by the driven side rotation body and moved outward in a radial direction thereby bringing the contact portion into contact with the inner circumferential surface of the clutch housing. During rotation of the drive side rotation body, the drive side rotation body pushes a drive side cam surface in the rotation direction, and the drive side cam surface acts to move the lock member inward in the radial direction and push the lock member against the driven side rotation body. Thus, the lock member is sandwiched between the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body thereby coupling the drive side rotation body and the driven side rotation body with the lock member to be integrally rotatable.

Clutch and motor

A motor includes a rotation shaft, a commutator, power supply brushes, and a brush holder. The brush holder includes an opposing portion that faces an end face of the commutator in an axial direction, a bearing holder, and a diffusion stopper. The diffusion stopper is arranged in a portion of the opposing portion located toward the outer side in the radial direction from the bearing holder and limits the diffusion of abrasion powder of the power supply brushes. The diffusion stopper is projected toward the commutator in the axial direction or recessed in the axial direction.

A clutch is provided that includes an annular clutch housing, a driving-side rotor, a driven-side rotor having a control surface, and a rolling element located between the inner circumferential surface of the clutch housing and the control surface. The control surface faces radially outward in the clutch housing. When the driving-side rotor rotates, the rotational driving force of the driving-side rotor is transmitted to the driven-side rotor. When the driving-side rotor is driven to rotate, the rolling element rotates together with the driven-side rotor. When the driving-side rotor is not driven to rotate, the rolling element is held between the inner circumferential surface of the clutch housing and the control surface so as to prevent the driven-side rotor from rotating.

An output power transmission device has a transmission plate and a C-ring. The transmission plate is attached to a wheel gear in an axial direction of the wheel gear such that the transmission plate directly engages with the wheel gear in a rotation direction. The transmission plate functions as a transmission member for transmitting rotation of the wheel gear to an output shaft. The C-ring is provided at a position where the C-ring sandwiches the transmission plate with the wheel gear in the axial direction. The C-ring functions as a restriction section for restricting movement of the transmission plate in the axial direction opposite from the wheel gear side. An elastic claw section as a pressing member is formed on the wheel gear. The elastic claw section presses the transmission plate against the C-ring in the axial direction.

Output power transmission device and motor with speed reducing mechanism

At the time of assembling an electric motor, plain bearings are installed over a worm shaft to form a shaft assembly. Then, the worm shaft together with the plain bearings is inserted into a gear housing in an inserting direction, which is generally parallel to an axial direction of the worm shaft, such that each of the plain bearings is press fitted into a corresponding installation part of the housing.

Rotatable shaft assembling method, rotatable shaft assembly, and electric motor having the same

A brake device arranged between a drive shaft and a driven shaft arranged coaxially with the drive shaft is disclosed. The brake device includes a first rotor, a second rotor, an engagement member, a braking mechanism, and a cam mechanism. The braking mechanism includes a movable friction member rotatable integrally with the second rotor, a fixed friction portion, and an urging member that urges the movable friction member toward the fixed friction portion. When rotational force is provided from the drive shaft to the first rotor, the cam mechanism permits transmission of rotation of the drive shaft to the driven shaft. When the rotational force is provided from the driven shaft to the second rotor, the cam mechanism restricts rotation of the driven shaft. The cam mechanism is provided independently from the engagement member.

Brake device and motor with speed reducing mechanism

A drive apparatus for opening and closing a window glass provided in a door having an inner panel is disclosed. The drive apparatus includes a motor provided in the door and a regulator that receives drive force from the motor and selectively open and close the window glass. The door noise includes motor operating noise and vibration transmission noise that is generated when vibration of the motor is transmitted to the inner panel via the regulator. The motor is configured such that a first-order frequency component in vibration of the motor is greater than any other nth component (n is an integer greater than or equal to two), so that the first-order frequency component in the door noise is greater than any other nth frequency component (n is an integer greater than or equal to two).

Door noise suppressing structure in open/close body drive apparatus

A motor controller that outputs a drive signal to a direct-current motor to drive the motor is provided. The motor controller includes a drive circuit that generates the drive signal. The drive circuit superimposes on a direct-current voltage an alternating-current component having a frequency in the audible frequency range of the human ear, thereby generating the drive signal.

Motor controller

A commutator having a plurality of segments, a short-circuit member assembly, a holding portion, and a plurality of spacing members is disclosed. The short-circuit member assembly includes a plurality of short-circuit pieces. Each short-circuit piece has an outer terminal, an inner terminal arranged radially inward from the outer terminal and circumferentially offset from the outer terminal at a predetermined offset angle, and a connecting portion connecting the inner terminal to the outer terminal. The holding portion covers the segments and at least a portion of the short-circuit member assembly to hold the segments and the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing members each have an insulated support portion and a plurality of insulated spacing projections formed integrally with the support portion. Each support portion extends in a radial direction of the short-circuit member assembly. The spacing projections are arranged in the direction in which the corresponding support members extend in such a manner that the spacing projections are each provided between the corresponding circumferentially adjacent pair of the connecting portions.
