A blower device and a vehicular air-conditioning device including a chamber for air flow so as to cool a motor, whereby water drops are prevented from reaching the motor with higher reliability. Included is a casing having an air intake port, an air discharge port, and a discharge flow path portion communicating between the air intake port and the air discharge port; a scroll fan provided in the casing to take in the air from the air intake port and generate an air flow to the air discharge port through the discharge flow path portion; a motor rotationally driving the scroll fan; and a motor cooling unit cooling the motor. The motor cooling unit includes a chamber for partial air flow from the discharge flow path portion and a cooling duct having an opening portion which opens into the chamber at one end and supplying air to the motor.

Blower device and vehicular air-conditioning device

A head mounted display includes a first display element and a second display element that emit light to a second portion. A first portion includes a first opening and a second opening separating from the first opening. The second portion includes a first optical element portion facing the first opening in a first direction and a second optical element portion facing the second opening in the first direction. Each of the first optical element portion and the second optical element portion of the second portion includes a reflection portion reflecting light emitted from the first display element or the second display element and a light-transmittance adjustment portion controlling a transmittance of external light travelling from the second portion toward the first portion on the basis of a signal that is output from a light-transmittance control circuit. The reflection portion is arranged between the light-transmittance adjustment portion and the first portion.

Head mounted display

A display device in an embodiment according to the present invention includes a display region arranged above a flexible substrate, the display region including a first display region and a second display region continuing from the first display region, at least the second display region including a curved surface. The second display region is located at a position where an image displayed in the second display region is not seen directly when viewing the first display region from a perpendicular direction with respect to a center part of the first display region.

Display device and display system

A display device includes a low-definition display section and a high-definition display section. An area of pixels of the high-definition display section is smaller than an area of pixels of the low-definition display section. The position of the center of the high-definition display section is shifted from the position of the center of the display region. Consequently, when the display device is worn on the head of a user and disposed in front of the eyes, it is possible to provide a high-definition image. It is possible to reduce a processing load of moving image processing.

Display device and head mounted display device

A stacked body including an organic film stacked on and in contact with an inorganic substrate, a wiring pattern, a first resin layer, a light-emitting element layer, and a second resin layer is prepared. The inorganic substrate is detached from the organic film. The stacked body from which the inorganic substrate is detached, an anisotropic conductive layer containing conductive particles having a diameter larger than the thickness of the organic film, and a wiring terminal of a flexible wiring board are disposed on top one another. The stacked body, the anisotropic conductive layer, and the flexible wiring board disposed are thermocompression bonded to cause the conductive particles to enter the organic film, and the wiring pattern and the wiring terminal are electrically connected by means of the conductive particles.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes a display area including a plurality of pixels located in a matrix. The plurality of pixels include first sub pixels and second sub pixels, the second sub pixels being adjacent to the first sub pixels. The display device further comprises a plurality of assisting lines formed between the first sub pixels and the second sub pixels, the areas not overlapping the openings of the banks as seen in a plan view. As seen in a cross-sectional view, regarding each of the first sub pixels and the second sub pixel adjacent thereto, a distance between an edge of the opening of the bank demarcating the first sub pixel and a corresponding assisting line, among the assisting lines, is longer than a distance between an edge of the opening of the bank demarcating the second sub pixel and the corresponding assisting line.

Display device

An organic EL display device includes a substrate, a fin structure on the substrate, the fin structure standing upright in a thickness direction of the substrate, a first electrode formed on at least a part of a side surface of the fin structure, an organic film which is laminated so as to cover a surface of the first electrode on the side surface of the fin structure, a second electrode that is transparent and laminated so as to cover a surface of the organic film on the side surface and a top portion of the fin structure, a color filter layer that is formed on a path that light travels after being emitted from the light emitting layer and passing through the second electrode and formed at least above the organic film laminated on the side surface, and a light blocking layer configured to block light formed above the top portion of the fin structure.

Organic electro-luminescent display device having pixel including fin structure

A color filter type EL display device in which the deterioration of a light-emitting layer is prevented, which can be manufactured by a gang-printing method, and whose cost in manufacture is reduced includes: a display area having a plurality of pixels; a frame area surrounding the display area; lower electrodes each formed in each of pixels; an insulating layer separating the pixels; a light-emitting EL layer formed on the lower electrodes and the insulating layer so as to straddle the plurality of pixels; an upper electrode formed on the EL layer so as to straddle the plurality of pixels; and a sealing layer formed on the upper electrode. In the frame area, the upper electrode and the insulating layer contact each other, or the sealing layer and the insulating layer contact each other, so as to surround the display area.

EL display device

Provided is a vehicle air conditioning device, in which a plurality of blow-off mode switching dampers are turned by a link mechanism, for enabling selective switching of blow-off modes, the link mechanism including: levers respectively provided to rotating shafts; and a turnable link including a plurality of cam grooves on each of which a pin provided to each lever slides. A rail portion is provided in any one of an inner side surface of the cam groove and an outer peripheral surface of each pin, and the cam groove and the pin are in contact with each other through the rail portion. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress abnormal noise that is generated when foreign substances are caught in a sliding surface (rail surface) between the cam groove and the pin.

Vehicle air conditioning device

An organic electroluminescent display device of the invention includes an element substrate, an organic electroluminescent light-emitting element disposed on the element substrate, and a sealing film disposed on the organic electroluminescent light-emitting element, wherein the organic electroluminescent light-emitting element includes an anode formed of metal and disposed on the element substrate, a light-emitting layer disposed on the anode, and a transparent cathode disposed on the light-emitting layer, and the sealing film includes a light-transmittance-reducing layer colored in black.

Organic luminescent display device

Under a normal environment, when red, green and blue displays are to be performed, the displays are performed singly by a red pixel, a green pixel and a blue pixel respectively, and under a high-illuminance environment, when the red display is to be performed, the display is performed by also shining the pixels other than the red pixel simultaneously, when the green display is to be performed, the display is performed by also shining the pixels other than the green pixel simultaneously, and when the blue display is to be performed, the display is performed by also shining the pixels other than the blue pixel simultaneously, thereby increasing the luminance of a screen. In this case, although the chromaticity of each color is lowered, since the luminance works more predominantly on the image quality under the high-illuminance environment than the chromaticity, image quality degradation does not occur.

Driving method of liquid crystal display device

A display device of the invention includes: a self-light-emitting display panel including a first substrate and a second substrate; a first heat-shrinkable film for anti-reflection bonded to a surface of the first substrate on the side opposite to the second substrate and having different shrinkage rates depending on directions; and a second heat-shrinkable film bonded to a surface of the second substrate on the side opposite to the first substrate and having different shrinkage rates depending on directions, wherein a first shrinkage direction that is a direction having a highest shrinkage rate among directions in which the first heat-shrinkable film shrinks is the same as a second shrinkage direction that is a direction having a highest shrinkage rate among directions in which the second heat-shrinkable film shrinks.

Display device that prevents warpage of polarizer

An image display device is disclosed in which poor display resulting from deflection of electron bundles which occurs due to electrification of spacers and secondary electron emission can be positively prevented and a high-quality display can be therefore obtained. In the image display device, electron sources in the vicinity of the spacers are displaced with respect to arranging positions at equal pitches, by distances which allow drifts of the electron bundles from phosphors, which are brought about by the deflection of the electron bundles which occurs due to electrification of the spacers and secondary electron emission, to be cancelled.

There are provided a character input apparatus and a tape printing apparatus incorporating the character input apparatus as well as a character input method, which are capable of easily preparing a desired document by calling a design form having a sample text input therein in advance and then editing contents of the sample text. A plurality of design forms each having a sample text input therein in advance are stored, and one design form is selected from the plurality of stored design forms. The sample text of the selected one design form is edited. The sample text of the selected one design form or the edited sample text is displayed on a screen. At the same time, the sample text is also displayed with a cursor added to a character to be edited. In an initial state before editing, the sample text is displayed with the cursor added to a last character thereof.

Character input apparatus and tape printing apparatus incorporating the same as well as character input method

In a corner portion outside a display region of a face substrate which constitutes a face panel of a display device, an opening is formed. In the opening, a stem glass structural body which is configured by integrally forming an exhaust pipe on a center portion of a stem glass and by forming conductive leads in a peripheral portion thereof in an embedded manner, is fixed by welding using curing by heating. The exhaust pipe is evacuated and, thereafter, tipped off, thus realizing vacuum sealing of the inside thereof. A lead line is connected to a distal end of one conductive lead by welding and another end of the lead line is electrically connected with one end portion of the anode formed on an inner surface of the face substrate using a conductive adhesive agent. Further, a getter is mounted and fixed to another conductive lead line by welding.
