Provided is a vehicle heating ventilation and air conditioning unit capable of improving the performance of a side demister in a foot mode where a DEF damper is set to a small degree of opening, and capable of securing window clearness of side window glass. In a vehicular air conditioner, in which an air flow passage for directing air sucked horizontally through a suction port upward in a casing having a plurality of blowout ports at the upper part and said suction port at the lower part, and an evaporator, air mix damper, heater, and blowout mode switching damper for selectively switching the plural blowout ports are arranged in the air flow passage, the evaporator can be replaced easily and rapidly, and the contamination of the surroundings, caused by the drain which drops from the evaporator when the vehicle is inclined and flows back into the blower case and drops from it by leaking, is prevented. For this purpose, the evaporator is disposed at a portion where the direction of air changes from horizontal to upward in the air flow passage so as to be tilted in such a manner that the suction port side end thereof is high than the opposite side end, and the casing is divided into a plurality of sections, and also one of the divided casings forms the upper half part of the suction port and is configured as an evaporator detachable cover for covering one side of the evaporator so that the evaporator can be pulled out of the casing by removing the cover.

Vehicular air conditioner

The air regulator for vehicles is provided with, within a casing, an evaporator which cools air, a heater which reheats the air cooled by the evaporator, and an air mix damper which is disposed on the downstream side of the evaporator and on the upstream side of the heater and in close proximity thereto, and which regulates the amount of air passing through the heater; a heat reflecting surface is formed on the heater side of the air mix damper. By means of this, it is possible to prevent the thermal deformation of the air mix damper by reflecting the radiation from the heater side using the heat reflecting surface. Accordingly, the sliding problems of the air mix damper can be prevented.

Air regulator for vehicles

In an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle having a casing which has an air suction opening and an air blowing opening at opposite ends of the casing. Contained within the casing are a fan for feeding air, an evaporator, an air mixing damper, and a heater, disposed in order from an upstream end of the casing. The air mixing damper is disposed in a position closely adjacent to an upstream side of the heater. The damper is constructed so as to be movable between a position for fully closing a front side of the heater and another position for fully closing a by-pass air flow passage provided for by-passing the heater. Provided at one side of the damper, is a rack extending along a moving direction of the damper, and a driving shaft, which is rotatably supported in the casing and carries a pinion which is engaged with the rack.
