This work machine is provided with a machine body equipped with a battery storage part for accommodating a battery. The machine body has a grip part on one side in the left-right direction. The battery storage part has an opening formed in the machine body and a lid capable of opening and closing the opening. The opening and the lid are provided on the other side of the machine body in the left-right direction.

A lawn mower includes a cutter blade having flaps and a flap drive mechanism. The flap drive mechanism includes a flap drive source and an intermediate power transmission unit. The intermediate power transmission unit is provided on a power transmission path between the flap drive source and the flaps and provided coaxially with a blade rotation axis. An output axis of a motor is provided coaxially with a blade rotation axis and the intermediate power transmission unit.

A cutter blade of a lawn mower includes a blade body and flaps. The blade body includes a shape with a sweepback angle inclined in a reverse-rotation direction of the cutter blade. The flap pivotal axis is provided along a blade edge without intersecting with a blade rotational axis. A flap pivotal axis is provided at a position offset from a line perpendicular to the blade rotational axis and in parallel to the pivotal axis, in a rotation direction of the cutter blade.

Cylinder mounting mechanism is provided in a working machine for mounting thereto a cylinder case having a cassette gas cylinder accommodated therein. Fitting recessed portion is provided in one end portion of the cylinder case and capable of receiving the mouthpiece support section, the fitting recessed portion being defined by an inner peripheral wall part of the one end portion that has a tapering wall thickness such that the surface of the wall part slants gradually outwardly toward the distal end of the fitting recessed portion.

A work machine to which a cassette gas cylinder is detachably attached is disclosed. The cassette gas cylinder is accommodated inside a gas cylinder case. A work vehicle includes an engine driven by gas fuel sealed inside a cassette gas cylinder. The cassette gas cylinder is installed in a cylinder mount. The cylinder mount comprises a mouthpiece support for supporting a mouthpiece of the cassette gas cylinder, and a shutter member swingable about a support shaft provided to the cylinder mount, for opening and closing an opening of the mouthpiece support from above the mouthpiece support.

Operation mechanism of a working machine includes a main clutch lever pivotably provided on an operating handle, and a pivot member operable in interlocked relation to pivoting operation of the main clutch lever. The pivot member pivots about a pivot point differing in position from a pivot point of the main clutch lever. When fully pulled by pivoting operation of the main clutch lever, the cable member is located nearest to the pivot point of the pivot member, so that force reverse-pivoting the pivot member is reduced.

Operation mechanism of working machine

A snow removal machine propelled by crawler belts trained around drive wheels and driven wheels is provided. The snow removal machine has a scraper confronting the outer periphery of the driven wheel so as to remove snow adhering to and accumulating on the outer periphery during snow removing operation. It prevents increase in tension of the crawler belt due to the increased diameter of the driven wheel in appearance that might otherwise be caused by snow adhering to the outer periphery.

In a snow-removing machine, an expandable and contractible regulating mechanism is coupled between a steering handlebar of a machine body including a snow-removing section and a drive section capable of being turned relative to the machine body about a wheel driving shaft, and is capable of regulating the level of the snow-removing section relative to the drive section. The expandable and contractible regulating mechanism is comprised of a cylinder connected to the machine body, a piston which divides the inside of the cylinder into a first chamber and a second chamber, a piston rod coupled to the piston and connected to the drive section, a communication passage permitting communication between the first and second chambers, and an on-off valve for opening and closing the communication passage. A high-pressure gas is filled in the first and second chambers, so that the expansion and compression of the high-pressure gas is permitted upon closing of the on-off valve. Thus, during a snow-removing operation of the snow-removing machine, vibration applied to the drive section can be absorbed utilizing the expandable and contractible regulating mechanism for regulating the level of the snow-removing section.
