A liquid jetting device includes a plurality of nozzles from which a liquid can be ejected, a plurality of pressure chambers, each being in fluid communication with an associated nozzle in the plurality of nozzles, actuators associated with each pressure chamber and configured to cause a pressure change in an associated pressure chamber in the plurality of pressure chambers, a heat-conductive chassis to which the plurality of nozzles, the plurality of pressure chambers, and the actuators are mounted, an integrated circuit held inside the chassis and configured to drive the actuators to eject liquid from the plurality of nozzles, a circuit board electrically connected to the integrated circuit and configured supply an electrical signal to integrated circuit, and a heat-conductive support to which the circuit board is mounted, the heat-conductive support held by the heat-conductive chassis to contact the integrated circuit and an inner surface of the heat-conductive chassis.

Liquid jetting device

An inkjet head comprises a pressure chamber, piezoelectric elements, and pressure chamber electrodes disposed on an interior side of the pressure chamber, the pressure chamber electrodes being configured to apply a driving voltage to the piezoelectric elements. The inkjet head also includes a nozzle plate adhered to the frame body with the resin film. The nozzle plate includes an ink discharge hole configured to discharge ink. The inkjet head includes a frame body including an attaching part to which a mask that surrounds the outer perimeter of the inkjet head is to be attached. The inkjet head also includes a resin film that coats the pressure chamber electrodes and that includes an end portion that extends to and covers the attaching part. The inkjet head also includes a layer that coats the end portion of the resin film and by which the mask is to be adhered to the frame.

Inkjet head and methods of manufacturing the inkjet head

An inkjet head according to an embodiment includes a base portion, a driving element, a wire, a protection portion, and a boundary portion. The base portion includes a mounting surface. The driving element is mounted on the base portion. The wire is formed on the mounting surface and connected to the driving element. The protection portion is formed on the mounting surface, covering a portion of the driving element and the wire, and possesses an insulation property. The boundary portion is provided at an end of the protection portion contacting the wire that is exposed. The boundary portion is thinner than the protection portion and possesses an insulation property. Thus, an inkjet head in which stripping of an insulating portion can be restrained is provided.

Inkjet head and method for manufacturing inkjet head

According to one embodiment, an ink-jet head includes an insulated substrate, a plurality of piezoelectric elements which are formed on the insulated substrate in the form of a line, a pressure chamber formed between the two adjacent piezoelectric elements to which ink is supplied, an electrode formed on a surface of the piezoelectric element and a surface of the insulated substrate, an organic protection film to cover a face of the electrode contacting the ink, a hydrophilic film which is formed to cover the organic protection film at a temperature of not more than 100&#xb0; C., a frame which is provided on the electrode on the insulated substrate to surround the line of the piezoelectric elements, and a nozzle plate provided on the frame having nozzles each opening into the pressure chamber.
