Provided is a gearbox for vehicle seats that can inhibit rattling of its shaft while inhibiting an increase in sliding resistance at a shaft end. The gearbox is used in a movable mechanism of a vehicle seat, and including a housing, a thrust bearing, and a cap. The housing accommodates a shaft, a gear, and a rotary bearing therein, and includes a female screw portion. The thrust bearing includes a force applied portion to be in contact with an end of the shaft, a male screw portion threadedly engaged with the female screw portion, and an engaged portion arranged to interpose the male screw portion between the engaged portion and the force applied portion in an axial direction of the shaft. The cap includes an engaging portion in engagement with the engaged portion of the thrust bearing, and a removal stopper restricting removal of the thrust bearing from the housing.

Gearbox for vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a plate provided on a seatback, an attachment mounted on the plate, two wires extending substantially in an up-down direction to receive a load in a seat front-rear direction applied to the plate, and two locking fixing portions provided above a location of a combined center of gravity of the plate and the attachment to lock and fix the plate with the two wires. Each of the two locking fixing portions includes a first holding portion, a second holding portion, and a wall portion. The first holding portion and the second holding portion hold the corresponding wire in the seat front-rear direction. The wall portion contacts the corresponding wire from a side opposite to the attachment across the wire. The two locking fixing portions are open on the attachment sides.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat frame that uses one spacer to enable maintaining of positional relationship between three components is provided. The vehicle seat frame comprises a rod; a first frame; a second frame that comprises a first open hollow for the rod to pass through and extends to cross a rod axis; a third frame that extends to cross the rod axis; and a spacer that comprises a first spacer portion that is disposed between and contactable to the first frame and the second frame, and a second spacer portion that extends from the first spacer portion, passes through a second open hollow disposed in the second frame towards a third frame, and has an extending end that is contactable to the third frame.

Vehicle seat frame

A slide rail includes a fixed-side rail, a movable-side rail, and a reinforcing structure that prevents detachment of the movable-side rail from the fixed-side rail. The reinforcing structure includes a fixed-side engaging portion attached to the fixed-side rail, and a movable-side engaging portion attached to the movable-side rail. The fixed-side and the movable-side engaging portions are configured, while allowing sliding of the movable-side rail, to come in contact with each other due to an action by a large load in a detaching direction input between the fixed-side rail and the movable-side rail, and to be engaged with each other to restrict movement of the movable-side rail in the detaching direction. A contact surface, that comes in contact with the movable-side engaging portion, of the fixed-side engaging portion includes surface regions that have mutually different positions in the detaching direction and are provided side by side in a sliding direction.

Slide rail

A frame structure of a seat cushion can include a right and left plate-like side panel having side portions of the seat cushion, and a tubular front pipe reinforcing front side portions of the right and left side panels. The front pipe can include right and left erect portions extending over the length of front sides of the side panels, right and left extending portions extending forward from upper end portions of the right and left erect portions, and a bridge portion bridging across front end portions of the right and left extending portions.

Frame structure of seat cushion for vehicle seat

A vehicular seat can include a pair of right and left slide devices, right and left lock mechanisms, and a synchronous releasing mechanism releasing the right and left lock mechanisms in synchronism with each other. The synchronous releasing mechanism can include a rod whose both end portions are rotatably mounted between upper portions of right and left side frames of a seat cushion, right and left levers mounted to portions of the rod near both end portions thereof so as to be incapable of rotating with respect to the rod, and right and left connection members connecting the right and left levers and the right and left lock mechanisms to each other. Clearance portions can be included between the right and left levers and the right and left connection members, to prevent the connection members from moving so as to release the lock mechanisms in synch with the levers when the side frames are downwardly crushed, and the rod and the levers move downwards.

Vehicular seat

A vehicle seat having a seat cushion may include a pair of slide devices disposed on a vehicle floor, a pair of lock devices respectively provided to the slide devices, and an operation mechanism of the lock devices. The slide devices are arranged and constructed to slide the vehicle seat on the vehicle floor. The lock devices are capable of releasably locking the vehicle seat at a desired position on the vehicle floor. The operation mechanism includes a synchronization member having an operation member. The synchronization member is disposed above the slide devices and is linked to the lock devices via a linking mechanism.
