A refrigeration apparatus includes a container such as an evaporator for holding refrigerant, and a compressor for compressing refrigerant vapor. The compressed vapor is returned to the container, and stored as liquid. The liquid refrigerant is withdrawn from the container and then returned to the container via a first path through a heat exchanger for cooling a space, or a second path that does not pass through the heat exchanger. Upon returning to the container, the liquid refrigerant is at least partly evaporated due to the reduced pressure in the container caused by the operation of the compressor, and the container is cooled by the latent heat of evaporation. Thus, the container can act as a cold storage unit. The cold storage effect is increased when the refrigerant is returned to the container via the second path.

Refrigeration device

A refrigeration cycle apparatus includes an evaporator, a first compressor, an intercooler, a second compressor, a condenser, and a refrigerant liquid supply passage. The intercooler stores refrigerant liquid and also cools refrigerant vapor compressed by the first compressor and expels it. The second compressor sucks in the refrigerant vapor expelled from the intercooler and compresses it. The intercooler includes a container, an intercooling passage, and a pump. The container contains a vapor space and stores refrigerant liquid. The intercooling passage is a passage in which a part of the refrigerant liquid stored in the container flows and that supplies the part of the refrigerant liquid to the vapor space. The pump pumps a part of the refrigerant liquid stored in the container to the vapor space.

Refrigeration cycle apparatus

A gas turbine system (A) includes a gas turbine unit () and a cooling fluid generator (). The gas turbine unit () includes a first compressor () and a first expansion turbine () coupled to each other by a first shaft (), a combustor (), and a fuel tank (). A fuel held in the fuel tank () circulates through a fuel circulation passage (). A working fluid that has a pressure increased by the first compressor () is extracted from the gas turbine unit (). The cooling fluid generator () includes a cooler () for cooling, with the fuel flowing through the fuel circulation passage (), the working fluid that has been extracted from the gas turbine unit (), and a second expansion turbine () for expanding the working fluid that has flowed out of the cooler ().

An ejector includes an atomization mechanism that is disposed at an end of a first nozzle and that atomizes a working fluid in a liquid phase while maintaining the liquid phase. The atomization mechanism includes an orifice and a collision plate. When the collision plate is orthographically projected onto a projection plane, in a projection of the collision plate, at least one point on a contour of the collision surface is disposed closer to a reference point than a second reference line, which is a line including the collision end point and perpendicular to the first reference line.

Ejector and heat pump apparatus

An ejector includes an atomization mechanism arranged at an end of a first nozzle. The atomization mechanism includes a plurality of orifices and a collision plate against which each of a plurality of jets ejected from the plurality of orifices collides. The collision plate includes a first principal surface and a second principal surface as a collision surface against which the jet collides, each of the first principal surface and the second principal surface extending toward an outlet of the ejector. The plurality of orifices includes a plurality of first orifices arranged on a side of the first principal surface of the collision plate and a plurality of second orifices arranged on a side of the second principal surface of the collision plate.

A turbo-compressor includes an impeller, a motor that generates heat by rotation and rotatably drives the impeller, a fluid passage through which a working fluid is forced by the impeller, and a heating mechanism that transfers the heat generated by the rotation of the motor to fluid upstream of the impeller so as to heat the working fluid at the inlet of the fluid passage.

Heat exchanger

An ejector includes a first nozzle, a second nozzle, an atomization mechanism, and a mixer. A working fluid in a liquid phase is supplied to the first nozzle as a drive flow. A working fluid in a gas phase is sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism is disposed at an end of the first nozzle and atomizes the working fluid in a liquid phase while maintaining the liquid phase. The mixer generates a fluid mixture by mixing the atomized working fluid generated by the atomization mechanism and the working fluid in a gas phase sucked into the second nozzle. The atomization mechanism includes an ejection section that generates a jet of the working fluid in a liquid phase and a collision surface with which the jet from the ejection section collides. The collision surface is inclined with respect to a direction in which the jet flows.

Ejector and heat pump apparatus including the same

An air conditioner (A) as a refrigeration apparatus includes: a refrigerant circuit () including an evaporator (), a first compressor (), a vapor cooler (), a second compressor (), and a condenser () that are connected in this order; a heat release circuit () that allows a heat medium to circulate between the condenser () and a first heat exchanger () that releases heat to the atmosphere; and a heat absorption circuit () that allows a heat medium to circulate between the evaporator () and a second heat exchanger (). The vapor cooler () is a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a refrigerant vapor compressed by the first compressor () and the heat medium flowing in the heat release circuit () or the heat medium flowing in the heat absorption circuit ().

A refrigerating cycle apparatus includes an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser, a feeding channel, a main circuit that circulates a refrigerant including fluid whose saturated vapor pressure at ordinary temperature is a negative pressure as a main component, a heat absorption circuit including a heat absorption heat exchanger, a heat release circuit including a heat release heat exchanger, an internal heat exchanger that allows indirect heat exchange between the fluid flowing through the heat absorption circuit and the fluid flowing through the heat release circuit, at least one of a heat absorption bypass channel and a heat release bypass channel, and at least one of a flow rate adjustment mechanism for heat absorption that adjusts a flow rate of the fluid flowing through the heat absorption bypass channel and a flow rate adjustment mechanism for heat release that adjusts a flow rate of the fluid flowing through the heat release bypass channel.

Refrigerating cycle apparatus

A heat exchange apparatus () includes a first heat exchanger (), an ejector (), a first extractor (), a first pump (), and a liquid path (). The ejector () produces a merged refrigerant flow using a refrigerant vapor and a refrigerant liquid flowing from the first heat exchanger (). The first extractor () receives the merged refrigerant flow from the ejector (), and extracts the refrigerant liquid from the merged refrigerant flow. A pump device (A) includes: an impeller () that rotates about an axis of rotation (A); an inlet passage () that extends along the axis of rotation (A) of the impeller (); a volute chamber () provided around the impeller (); a high-pressure chamber () provided around the inlet passage (); a circumferential wall () that separates the inlet passage () and the high-pressure chamber (); and a bypass passage () that communicates the volute chamber () and the high-pressure chamber (). The circumferential wall () has a plurality of through holes () provided in a circumferential direction. The central axis (B) of each of the through holes () is included in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation (A). The central axis (B) is inclined with respect to a reference line (L). The direction of inclination of the central axis (B) with respect to the reference line (L) is determined so that an inlet passage side opening () of the through hole () is located downstream from a high-pressure chamber () side opening () in a rotational direction of the impeller ().

Pump device and pump system

A refrigeration cycle apparatus (A) includes: a main circuit () composed of an evaporator (), a first compressor (), an intercooler (), a second compressor (), and a condenser () which are connected in this order; and an evaporation-side circulation path () that allows a refrigerant liquid retained in the evaporator () to circulate via a heat exchanger for heat absorption (). The intercooler () is a heat exchanger that allows a refrigerant vapor compressed by the first compressor () to be cooled by the refrigerant liquid.
