An electrolyzing device is capable of removing scales adhered to a cathode in an electrolyzing mode without deteriorating an electrode forming an anode. An electrolyzing device includes a first main electrode, a second main electrode, an auxiliary electrode, and control means C for controlling current supply to the electrodes, the control means C includes an electrolyzing mode in which treated water is electrochemically treated by using the first main electrodeas an anode and the second main electrodeas a cathode, a scale removal mode of the second main electrode in which scales adhered to the second main electrodeare removed by using the second main electrodeas the anode and the auxiliary electrodeas the cathode, and a scale removal mode of the auxiliary electrode in which scales adhered to the auxiliary electrodeare removed by using the auxiliary electrodeas the anode and the second main electrodeas the cathode.

Electrolyzing device

There disclosed a water reuse method in which a surfactant is easily removed from surfactant-including for-treatment water in a cleaning device, whereby water can be reused, and an adsorbent can easily be regenerated only by exposing the adsorbent to an electrolytic solution, and a washing machine including the function. The method includes a surfactant adsorption treatment step of performing a treatment to adsorb and remove a surfactant in surfactant-including for-treatment water such as cleaning water and rinse water used in a washing machine W by hydrotalcite as an anion exchanger or zeolite as a cation exchanger, and a water reuse step of using, in the washing machine W, the for-treatment water treated in the surfactant adsorption treatment step.

There is provided a nitrogen treating method capable of treating nitrogen compounds efficiently. The method is a nitrogen treating method of treating nitrogen compounds in for-treatment water by electrolysis and performs a first treating step of producing ammonia from the nitrogen compounds in the for-treatment water by electrolysis using a cathode and an anode between which a cation exchange film is interposed so as to define a cathode reaction region and an anode reaction region, and a second treating step of removing the ammonia in the for-treatment water treated in the cathode reaction region by the first treating step.

There are provided a nitrogen treating method and system for a nitrogen compound, which can treat the nitrogen compound efficiently and which can reduce the size and cost of an apparatus.
