A contact includes a thin plate member having elasticity and conductivity, is disposed between a first member and a second member, and electrically connects the first member and the second member via the thin plate member, and the contact includes a base portion and a movable portion. The base portion has a bonding surface to be bonded to the first member by soldering. The movable portion includes: a contact portion that contacts with the second member; and a connecting portion that connects to the base portion, and is configured to be elastically deformable with respect to the base portion. The connecting portion is gradually separated from the first member. A predetermined range from a connecting position of the connecting portion with the base portion is lower in solder wettability than the bonding surface.

Contact

A contact member for which downsizing beyond conventional products is feasible is provided. The contact member includes a base portion, a contact portion, and a spring portion. The spring portion includes a first extension portion, a second extension portion, a third extension portion, and a fourth extension portion. The first extension portion is bent from a rear end of the base portion and extends upward. The second extension portion is bent from an upper end of the first extension portion and extends forward, and its upper surface is made to be a sucked surface that is capable of being attracted to a suction nozzle of an automatic mounting machine. The third extension portion is bent from a front end of the second extension portion and extends forward obliquely downward. The fourth extension portion is bent from a front end of the third extension portion, extends upward obliquely rearward, and is provided with the contact portion on a distal end side in its extension direction.

Contact member

A contact in one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a fixing portion, an elastic contact piece, and a pair of projecting tabs, which are formed as an integrated entity from a metal thin plate. The projecting tabs project from the fixing portion at positions on both sides of the elastic contact piece. A dimension of the elastic contact piece in a width direction, which matches the direction of an interval between the projecting tabs, is a first dimension. The projecting tabs are formed such that each projecting tab is a flat plate having the same thickness as the thin plate. The projecting tabs are arranged such that the thickness directions thereof are the same direction, in locations that have inner surfaces of the projecting tabs facing each other, and an interval between the inner surfaces is a second dimension greater than the first dimension.

Conductive contact including an elastic contact piece with protruding portions

A pair of solder bonding portions to be solder-bonded onto the printed wiring board and a contact portion to contact the different conductive member or the like are coupled by a pair of flat spring portions. The respective flat spring portions protrude from side surfaces of mutually opposed corners of the contact portion. Sections following protruded sections of the respective flat spring portions are bent so as to wind in the same direction around a pillar-shaped space obtained by projecting the contact portion downward, and the flat spring portions reach the corresponding solder bonding portions. When the contact portion is pressed by the conductive member, the contact portion and the solder bonding portions remain parallel to each other, whereby the contact member can be successfully flattened toward the printed wiring board. At this point, outward deformation of the flat spring portions is inhibited.

A contact member includes a base portion including a joint portion solderable to a first conductor; and an elastic contact portion formed continuously to the base portion and including a contact portion contactable with a second conductor. The base portion and the elastic contact portion form an integrated molded body include a metal thin plate having electrical conductivity and spring characteristic. The plate is a clad material including two or more metal layers stacked in a plate thickness direction of the plate, a first layer serving as one surface layer of the two or more stacked metal layers includes a metal member having a spring characteristic, and a second layer serving as another surface layer of the two or more stacked metal layers includes an aluminum member, the joint portion includes the first layer or the first layer that is plated, and the contact portion includes the second layer.

Surface mounting contact member

An electromagnetic shielding structure in one aspect of the present invention comprises one and more gripping members and a shielding case. The shielding case has a roof section and a plurality of side walls. The roof section comprises a polygonal panel that is shaped so as not to fit inside a 30 mm&#xd7;30 mm square region. The side walls comprise panels that are provided so as to hang from portions corresponding to part or entirety of some of sides of the polygonal roof, and each side wall is configured to contact the gripping member at a position within a predetermined distance from an edge of that side wall in a direction perpendicular to both a thickness direction of that side wall and a thickness direction of a printed circuit board.

Electromagnetic shielding structure

A contact member according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a thin plate member having spring characteristics and electrical conductivity. The thin plate member comprises: a joint portion having a joint surface to be joined to a first member; a contact portion contactable with a second member; and a connecting portion having a length component in a direction intersecting the joint surface, and having a first end continuous to the joint portion and a second end continuous to the contact portion. The connecting portion comprises a narrow portion having a smaller dimension in a width direction than a dimension around the narrow portion.

A conductive clip according to an aspect of the present invention includes a base portion and plural grip pieces. The plural grip pieces is configured to be able to grip a plate-like portion that is a part of a shield case. The grip piece includes a first portion, a second portion, a third portion, and a convex portion. In at least one press-contacted with the one surface of the plate-like portion and at least one press-contacted with the other surface of the plate-like portion among the plural grip pieces, the first portions and the second portions are provided to face each other with the position of the plate-like portion interposed therebetween, and the third portions are provided at positions where parts of distal end portions of the third portions in the extension direction do not overlap with each other when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the plate-like portion.

Conductive clip

A grip member in one aspect of the present invention comprises a base portion and one or more pairs of grip portions. Of one and the other of the pair of grip portions, the one grip portion comprises a first spring portion and a second spring portion. The other grip portion comprises a third spring portion and a fourth spring portion. The second and fourth spring portions can grip the shield case by holding the shield case therebetween. The second and fourth spring portions are in contact with the shield case at different positions in regard to at least a direction orthogonal to the joint surface when the second and fourth spring portions grip the shield case.

Grip member

A contact member has a first flat-plate portion, a pair of leg portions, a second flat-plate portion, and a projection portion. The pair of leg portions extends from opposite ends of the first flat-plate portion along a first orientation in a direction intersecting with the first flat-plate portion. The second flat-plate portion is connected to a projecting end of the leg portion. The projection portion extends from an end of the first flat-plate portion on a first direction side of a second orientation, which intersects with the first orientation, to the same direction as the direction where the leg portion extends. The projection portion is bent in a second direction of the second orientation to pass through the space between the pair of leg portions, thereby projecting in the second direction of the second orientation. The projection portion is provided with a protruding portion that expands along the first orientation.

A surface mount clip including: a solder joint part in which a lower surface thereof is to be a solder joint surface to be soldered and connected to a conductor pattern on a printed circuit board. A pair of support parts are connected to the solder joint part and, when the solder joint part is soldered and connected to the printed circuit board, are supported in a position above the printed circuit board at an interval between the pair of support parts. The interval allows a conductive member, other than the printed circuit board, to be inserted therein. A resilient contact part, that is connected at least to one of the pair of support parts, is resiliently deformed and pressed by the conductive member, when the conductive member is inserted between the pair of support parts, and electrically connects the conductor pattern and the conductive member.

Surface mount clip

A surface mount clip includes a base part having a rear surface electrically connected to a conductor part of a printed wiring board; and an extension part extending from the base part. The extension part contacts with a conductive member attached to the printed wiring board with elastic deformation of the extension part to hold the conductive member and make electrical connection thereto. The base part includes a solder-bonding part having a bonding plane to be bonded with the printed wiring board and a floating part forming a gap from the printed wiring board in a state that the solder-bonding part is solder-bonded to the printed wiring board. The extension part includes a root part extending from the floating part toward the rear surface of the base part and a folded-back part extending from an end of the root part toward a front surface of the base part.

A contact includes a solder bonding portion, an elastic contact portion, and a suction portion. An undersurface of the solder bonding portion is a solder bonding face which is to be solder bonded to the conductor pattern. The elastic contact portion is connected to one end of the solder bonding portion and bent over the solder bonding portion. When in contact with a conductive member, the elastic contact portion is pressed against the conductive member while being elastically deformed. The suction portion is connected to the solder bonding portion independently of the elastic contact portion. The suction portion is made a suction face for a suction nozzle of an automatic mounter, with its top end being arranged in parallel to the undersurface of the solder bonding portion on the conductive member side of the elastic contact portion.
