A portable blower has a casing () having an opening portion () open in a suction face () of the casing () facing the installation surface with an inclination and a discharge port () open in a top face () of the casing (); an air passage () inside the casing (), connecting between the opening portion () and the discharge port (); and a blower fan () inside the air passage (). As the blower fan () is operated, outside air is introduced into the air passage () through an intake port () formed by part or the whole of the opening portion () to pass through the blower fan () and then be sent out through the discharge port (). The opening portion () and the discharge port () communicate with each other along the inner side of the suction face () outside the blower fan ().

Portable blower

A portable blower includes a casing () having an intake port () and a discharge port (); an air passage () provided inside the casing () and connecting between the intake port () and the discharge port (); a blower fan () arranged inside the air passage (); a filter () arranged at the intake port (); and a lid portion () openably fitted to the casing (), the lid portion (), when open, exposing the intake port () and, when closed, covering the intake port (). When open, the lid portion () supports the casing () to let it stand on a table top. As the blower fan () is operated, outside air is introduced through the intake port () into the air passage () so as to be sent out through the discharge port ().

An air blower including a motorhaving output shaftson both sides in the axial direction and two impellersmounted on the respective output shafts, and two ductsthat individually allow passage of the air blown out by rotation of each of the impellersin the same direction and discharge the air to the outside are included. At a part or the whole of each of the ducts, a laminar flow section that makes the flowing air laminar flow. An ion generating section is arranged at each laminar flow section so that ions generated by the ion generating section can effectively be included in the air, increasing the ion concentration of ions discharged in a room together with the air.
