A waterproof unit including: a first waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be attached to a through hole of a vehicle body panel disposed between a waterproof area that requires waterproofing and a non-waterproof area that does not require waterproofing; a second waterproof tube that has a tubular shape and is to be disposed in the non-waterproof area so as to be spaced apart from the first waterproof tube; and a first exterior tube that has a tubular shape, is disposed between the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, and is coupled to the first waterproof tube and the second waterproof tube, wherein the first exterior tube has higher flexural rigidity than the first waterproof tube to be kept from coming into contact with the first waterproof tube when the waterproof unit is bent in the non-waterproof area.

Waterproof unit and wire harness

A wire harness including: a tube that is made of metal; a plurality of electrical wires that are inserted into the tube; and a plurality of shields that are formed by braided wires in which conductive strands are woven into a tubular shape, and include tubular portions that respectively cover portions of the electrical wires located outside the tube, wherein portions at one end of the plurality of shields are put together and are fixed to the tube.

Wire harness

A ventilation member that includes an attachment that can be attached to an electric wire insertion tube having a first through hole; and a connection body that is arranged on the attachment and is connected to the first through hole, wherein the connection body has ventilation that allows air to pass therethrough and is unlikely to allow water to pass therethrough, a first connection that can be connected to a second through hole with a first diameter, and a second connection that can be connected to a third through hole with a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter, and the first connection and the second connection are arranged along a projecting direction of the connection body.

Ventilation member and harness

To achieve high waterproofness, a grommet that is attached so as to cover a shield pipe and a corrugated tube so as to bridge therebetween includes a pipe-side end portion that is formed in a tubular shape capable of being sealingly connected to an outer circumferential side of the pipe, and a corrugated-side end portion that is formed in a tubular shape capable of being sealingly connected to an outer circumferential side of the corrugated tube. A plurality of sealing lips that closely contact to an outer surface of the shield pipe are formed on an inner surface of the pipe-side end portion. The sealing lips are disposed inside and outside a width region W that is fastened by a fastening band disposed on an outer surface of the pipe-side end portion.

Grommet

A wire harness that includes a braid composed of conductive strands; a cylindrical conductor that is electrically connected to the braid and can be attached to an attachment target; and an electrical wire inserted into the braid and the cylindrical conductor, wherein the cylindrical conductor includes a rotation restriction that restricts rotation of the cylindrical conductor with respect to the attachment target by engaging with the attachment target in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical conductor, and the rotation restriction also restricts the cylindrical conductor from moving in an axial direction of the cylindrical conductor by engaging with the attachment target in the axial direction.

Wire harness and connection structure for wire harness

Provided is a grommet and a grommet attachment structure configured to prevent a foreign object from entering. The grommet is externally mounted to a bundle of wires, and to a through hole formed in a panel disposed between a waterproof region and a non-waterproof region, the grommet includes a body portion fitted to the through hole; a waterproof-side protruding portion protrudes from the body portion to the waterproof region side; and a non-waterproof-side protruding portion protrudes from the body portion to the non-waterproof region side. The non-waterproof-side protruding portion includes a tubular portion surrounding the bundle of wires, and a projecting piece portion disposed along a portion of an outer circumference of the bundle of wires.

Grommet and grommet attachment structure

A water-proofing member includes a pair of elastic tubular connection portions and individually connected in an air-tight manner to a connector (housing member) and a corrugated tube (housing member) housing an electrical wire; an elastic tubular insertion portion that surrounds the electrical wire in a mode of connecting the pair of tubular connection portions and to each other; an elastic pipe-shaped extension portion that can be deformed such that its axis is curved, and extends and branches from the outer circumferential surface of the insertion portion; and an air-permeable film that is attached to an extension end portion of the pipe-shaped extension portion.

Water-proofing member

At the end portion of a wire harness that is connected through a through hole of a casing, a shielding shell is fixed to the casing and covers a connector for a harness attached to the end portion of the wire harness. A grommet covers the outside of the shielding shell. The grommet includes a main portion and a band-fastened portion, and a skirt portion extends from the band-fastened portion. A bundling band fastens the outer circumferential surface of the connecting portion via the band-fastened portion, and the skirt portion is brought into intimate contact with the outer circumferential surface of a step portion that is continuous with the connecting portion. Sealing lips that receive fastening force by the bundling band and come into intimate contact with the outer circumferential surface of the connecting portion in a squeezed state are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the band-fastened portion.
