A superconducting wire rod according to an aspect of the present disclosure is a superconducting wire rod having a flat cross-sectional shape which is characterized in that a voltage is generated with a lower current density or a higher voltage is generated with the same current density in a region on at least one end side in a wire rod width direction as compared with a region other than the region on the at least one end side.

A transportation pipe includes a main-body vacuum insulated pipe, a central pipe, and a connecting vacuum insulated pipe. The main-body vacuum insulated pipe including a double pipe structure includes a vacuum part in a region between an inner pipe and an outer pipe. The central pipe through which a fluid to be transported flows, is arranged in the main-body vacuum insulated pipe. The connecting vacuum insulated pipe having a double pipe structure includes a vacuum part in a region between an inner pipe and an outer pipe. Disclosed is an information processing apparatus including an expression extraction unit, a feature extraction unit, a clustering unit, a related expression extraction unit, and an output unit. The expression extraction unit extracts a plurality of expressions from a plurality of documents. The feature extraction unit extracts feature amounts of the extracted respective expressions while distinguishing the expressions having the same notation. The clustering unit clusters the extracted respective expressions together while distinguishing the expressions having the same notation and calculates assignment degree vectors having assignment degrees of the respective expressions to two or more respective clusters as components. The related expression extraction unit extracts related expressions having the assignment degree vectors similar to those of a provided input expression while distinguishing the expressions having the same notation. The output unit outputs the related expressions and identification information for identifying the related expressions.

A fluorescent labeling reagent of the present invention includes an inorganic fluorescent particle and a material (A) having a material (B) of biological origin adsorbed or bound thereto. The inorganic fluorescent particle is integrated with the material (A) so as to form the reagent of the present invention. The inorganic fluorescent particle used in the present invention is capable of emitting light with a wavelength of 650 nm to 1600 nm in the infrared region or the near-infrared region which can be detected by means of Si&#x2014;CCD or InGaAs&#x2014;PD and can penetrate an HO rich sample when excited by light with a wavelength of 650 nm or longer which has the shortest transparent wavelength of AlInGaP-LD including oxygen adsorption type hemoglobin used for DVDs etc.

A vehicle-behavior detecting apparatus including a first-yaw-moment calculating unit, a second-yaw-moment calculating unit, and an indication-value calculating unit. Based on a linear bicycle model, the first-yaw-moment calculating unit calculates a first-yaw-moment during constant-speed turning. The second-yaw-moment calculating unit reads the longitudinal acceleration detected by an acceleration sensor in addition to the parameters read in the first-yaw-moment calculating unit, and calculates a second yaw moment during acceleration or deceleration. The indication-value calculating unit calculates a variation value in the yaw moment showing the vehicle behavior from the difference between the first yaw moment during constant-speed turning and the second yaw moment during accelerated or decelerated turning. The variation in the yaw moment due to the vehicle-load shift during accelerated or decelerated turning is compensated for by the variation value.

A wavelength monitor capable of obtaining an optical detection signal of high quality is proposed. In the wavelength monitor, a light incident surface of an optical filter is disposed with an inclination relative to the light incident direction. With this arrangement, it is possible to make the route of a reflection light that has been reflected from the light incident surface of the optical filter deviate large from the route of an incident light that has been incident to the optical filter. Consequently, the reflected light is prevented from being incident to a semiconductor laser device or optical detectors.
