A sheet feeding apparatus includes a support portion, a guide portion, and a contact unit. The support portion rotatably supports a roll having a sheet wound to the roll. The contact unit contacts an outer periphery of the roll supported by the support portion. The contact unit contacts the roll from upstream in the guide direction, and, in feeding the sheet, the sheet is fed from the roll supported by the support portion.

A roll sheet with a continuous sheet wound in a roll form is rotated in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. A sensor whose output is changed in accordance with a distance between the sensor and the sheet is used. The image forming apparatus includes a drum unit including a photosensitive drum, and a development unit. The development unit includes a development roller, a reception portion configured to receive the replenishment container. The development unit is movable relative to the drum unit. The image forming apparatus further includes a housing including an opening/closing member movable between a cover position, at which the opening/closing member covers the reception portion, and an exposing position, at which the reception portion is exposed, and a support member configured to be movable between a support position, at which the support member supports the development unit, and a retracted position, at which the support member is retracted from the support position, in conjunction with the movement of the opening/closing member.

A roll sheet, in which a continuous sheet is wound in a roll form, is caused to rotate in a forward direction to supply the sheet to a printing unit. First and second sensors are arranged at positions facing an outer circumferential surface of the roll sheet and deviated in an axis line direction of the roll sheet. Outputs of the first and second sensors are changed in accordance with a distance to a sheet of the roll sheet. A rotation direction of the roll sheet is switched from a forward direction to a reverse direction on the basis of the outputs of the first and second sensors while the roll sheet is being rotated in the reverse direction.

A sheet supplying apparatus, which is capable of winding a sheet tightly, includes a driving unit configured to cause a roll including a wound consecutive sheet to rotate in a first direction for feeding the sheet or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a sensor that detects a leading end portion of the sheet separated from an outer circumferential surface of the roll, and a contact body that presses the outer circumferential surface. Before the sheet is fed, in a state in which the contact body presses the outer circumferential surface, the driving unit causes the roll to continuously rotate in the second direction until a detection cycle of the leading end portion by the sensor is less than a predetermined value.

The present technology relates to a display apparatus that can more reliably suppress effects of heating. Provided is a display apparatus that includes a signal processing section, a panel section, and a vibration section. The signal processing section processes a video image signal and a sound signal. The panel section is in a plate shape and displays a video image corresponding to the video image signal. The vibration section is arranged on a back face side of the panel section and vibrates the panel section according to the sound signal. The signal processing section calculates a correction value for suppressing an amount of light emitted by the panel section on the basis of the sound signal and controls a level of the video image signal on the basis of the calculated correction value. The present technology is applicable, for example, to a television receiver.
