A vehicular display system includes a movable body displaceable between an erect position and a tilted position, a first moving body disposed on the vehicle upper side of the movable body in the erect position, a second moving body disposed on the vehicle lower side of the movable body in the erect position, a drive device that displaces the movable body between the erect position and the tilted position, a guide device that guides the second moving body along the displacement operation of the movable body between the erect position and the tilted position, a display device that allows a user to view vehicle interior display information as if the information were displayed in an information display area of the movable body, and an elastic member that applies an elastic force between the movable body and the drive device.

Vehicular display system

A vehicle display device includes an accommodating unit mounted on a vehicle, a ring-like decorative member disposed inside the accommodating unit, and a device configured to change a state of the decorative member depending on a travel mode of the vehicle. The device configured to change a state of the decorative member may be a drive device configured to change a posture of the decorative member depending on the travel mode. The drive device may change a posture of the decorative member to be different from that in the other travel mode if a first travel mode in which responsiveness of behavior of the vehicle in response to a driver's manipulation input is higher than that in the other travel mode is selected.

A vehicle display device includes: a housing unit having an opening facing an eye point side of a vehicle; a decorative member disposed inside the housing unit; a display device configured to display an image inside the housing unit, a drive device configured to move the decorative member in a width direction of the housing unit; and an illumination device operated depending on a movement of the decorative member to irradiate the decorative member with light. Provided is a pointer illumination structure which is simple, and in which a rotary part including a pointer body can be made lightweight. A containing coverof a pointer movementcontains a rotation driving mechanism including a rotorand an intermediate gear, an output gear, and so on. The rotation driving mechanism transmits rotation based on a measured amount to the output gear, and rotates a pointer bodysupported by a bearing, by way of the output gear. The bearingrotatably supports a shaftof the pointer body. A pointerof the pointer bodyindicates a measuring value according to rotation of the pointer bodyaround the shaft. A light sourceis provided for illuminating the pointerof the pointer body. In the pointer movement, the bearingis formed of a material through which light from the light sourcecan pass, and integrally formed with the lower coverof the containing coverat a position more adjacent to the light sourcethan the shaftof the pointer body, on an optical path.

Pointer illumination structure

A gauge, including a gauge face having indicia; a pointer configured to indicate a position on the gauge face based on input received from measurement; and an instrument for driving the pointer. The instrument for moving the pointer includes a flexible member connected to the pointer; a first pulley configured to respectively wind up both ends of the flexible member; a control device for preventing the flexible member from deviating from the first pulley; a second pulley spaced apart from the first pulley and configured to roll up the center portion of the flexible member; a motor configured to rotate the first pulley based on input received from the measurement and to drive the pointer around the gauge face; and a tension member.

An external pinion type odometer, in which the outer diameter of at least a lower digit wheel, a surface portion of which has numbers stamped, is made smaller than the outer diameter of the lower digit wheel, another surface portion of which slidingly contacts with a wide tooth of the corresponding transfer pinion. The stamped numbers do not contact with the wide teeth of the transfer pinion, thereby excluding the likelihood that the stamped numbers will come to peel off.

External pinion type odometer

An indicating instrument having a cross coil comprising a pair of mutually perpendicular coils wound on a coil bobbin for passing therethrough current changing with changes in the quantity to be measured, a magnet rotor disposed inside the coil bobbin for rotating in the direction of a magnetic field which is the combination of the respective magnetic fields generated by the cross coil, and a pointer for indicating the measured quantity which is mounted on a rotary shaft rotatable together with the magnetic rotor. In order to prevent unneccessary vibration of the rotary shaft, the rotary shaft is acted on by a damping force of a viscous liquid. The viscous liquid is accommodated in a recess formed in the upper surface of the magnet rotor, and the damping action is performed in cooperation with a damping projection projecting downward from a part of the coil bobbin.
