A rewriting process of data stored in a control device is performed while executing a normal process. In a control system including a plurality of control devices in which data have been stored, each of which is a device for controlling an electric component of an automobile, a first communication line interconnecting the plurality of control devices, and a second communication line interconnecting the plurality of control devices for hacking up the first communication line, a rewriting device in which rewriting data have been stored is connected to the second communication line, and the rewriting device rewrites data stored in the control device to be rewritten with the rewriting data based on the rewriting data using the second communication line.

Data rewriting method and data rewriting system

Provided is a communication system capable of performing function addition and design change inexpensively. The communication system includes a plurality of slave devices and a master device communicating with the plurality of slave devices. The control blocks control the slave devices or the master device. The input blocks input the input signals to input ports of the control blocks, respectively. The output blocks include semiconductor relays that are turned on and off according to output signals output from the output ports of the control blocks, respectively. The power supply block supplies power to the control blocks. These blocks are configured on separate substrates. The communication block has a communication I/F circuit. The slave devices or the master device are configured by combining plural types of blocks.

Communication system

A plurality of semiconductor relays is provided between a power source and loads. The semiconductor relays have a function of a current detection for detecting a current passing through themselves. The loads are connected to output terminals respectively. A switching unit arbitrarily selects and switches a connecting destination of the semiconductor relays from among the plurality of output terminals. A microcomputer controls the switching unit on the basis of the detection results of a current flowing through the semiconductor relays, and adjusts the number of the semiconductor relays connected to the same load and connected to each other in parallel.
