A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body in which dielectric layers are laminated, first and second internal electrode layers extending to both end surfaces of the multilayer body, first and second external electrodes connected to the first internal electrode layer and disposed on both end surfaces, and third and fourth external electrodes connected to the second internal electrode layer and disposed on both side surfaces. A number of the first internal electrode layers is greater than a number of the second internal electrode layers, and at least two first internal electrode layers are continuously laminated. In the first internal electrode layer, a recess is provided so as not to overlap the third and fourth external electrodes on a portion of both principal surfaces when the multilayer ceramic capacitor is viewed from a height direction.

Multilayer ceramic capacitor

A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body, a first internal electrode layer extending to opposing end surfaces of the multilayer body, a second internal electrode layer extending to opposing side surfaces of the multilayer body, first and second external electrodes connected to the first internal electrode layer and provided on the opposing end surfaces, and third and fourth external electrodes connected to the second internal electrode layer and provided on the opposing side surfaces. The second internal electrode layer includes a central section in a central portion of the dielectric layer and an extending section extending to the opposing side surfaces. The first internal electrode layer is larger in number than the second internal electrode layer, at least two first internal electrode layers are successively layered, and the extending section is larger in thickness than the central section located in the central portion of the dielectric layer.

A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body in which dielectric layers are layered, first internal electrode layers extending to opposing end surfaces of the multilayer body, second internal electrode layers extending to opposing side surfaces of the multilayer body, first and second external electrodes connected to the first internal electrode layers and provided on the respective opposing end surfaces, and third and fourth external electrodes connected to the second internal electrode layers and provided on the respective opposing side surfaces. A number of the first internal electrode layers is larger than a number of the second internal electrode layers, at least two first internal electrode layers are successively layered, and a thickness of the second internal electrode layers is larger than a thickness of the first internal electrode layers.

A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a multilayer body including dielectric layers and inner electrodes stacked in an alternating manner, and first, second, third, and fourth outer electrodes provided on a surface of the multilayer body. An effective portion includes a capacitance generating portion in which first and second inner electrodes face each other to generate an electrostatic capacitance, a first successive stacking portion in which first inner electrodes are successively stacked, and a second successive stacking portion in which second inner electrodes are successively stacked. The following relational expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1) about 0.168&#x2264;Total thickness of inner electrodes/Dimension of multilayer body in stacking direction. (2) about 0.19&#x2264;Total number of first and second inner electrodes opposing each other with dielectric layers interposed therebetween/Total number of inner electrodes&#x2264;about 0.48.

A capacitor component includes a laminate including dielectric layers and internal electrode layers, first and second external electrodes respectively provided on first and second end surfaces of the laminate, and a third external electrode provided on at least one of first and second lateral surfaces of the laminate. The internal electrode layers include a first internal electrode layer connected to the first external electrode and not connected to either the second or the third external electrode; a second internal electrode layer connected to the second external electrode and not connected to either the first or the third external electrode; a third internal electrode layer not connected to any of the first, the second, or the third external electrode; and a fourth internal electrode layer connected to the third external electrode and not connected to either the first or the second external electrode.

Capacitor component

External electrodes, electrically connected to exposed portions of internal electrodes, are arranged on end surfaces of a ceramic main body of a laminated ceramic capacitor. Alloy layers of a metal contained in internal electrodes, and a metal contained in external electrodes, are arranged at the boundaries between external electrodes, and the ceramic main body and internal electrodes. Plating layers are provided on surfaces of external electrodes. A ceramic electronic component having a reduced ESR is thus provided.

Ceramic electronic component with low equivalent series resistance and method for manufacturing the same

An electronic component includes a ceramic body including first to fourth side surfaces, a first external electrode provided on one side surface of the ceramic body, a second external electrode, and a plurality of reinforcing electrodes. Each of the first and second external electrodes includes a thick-film electrode layer including sintered metal, a plated layer arranged so as to cover the thick-film electrode layer, an external electrode main body portion covering the side surface of the ceramic body, and turnback portions extending to the top surface and the bottom surface of the ceramic body. An end portion of at least one reinforcing electrode of the plurality of reinforcing electrodes is exposed on the top surface or the bottom surface of the ceramic body on the center portion of the ceramic body in relation to the thick-film electrode layer in the turnback portion.

Electronic component including reinforcing electrodes

A noise filter array includes filter elements including an LC parallel resonant circuit and an LC series resonant circuit each of which includes a coil and a capacitor provided in proximity in an array and integrally provided with one another. The LC series resonant circuits include ground capacitors having signal-side electrodes. Inductance adjustment conductors are connected to signal-side electrodes of the capacitors defining the respective filter elements, and a ground electrode of the capacitors is commonly arranged so as to oppose the signal-side electrodes.

Noise filter array

A noise filter array includes filter elements, each of which includes an LC parallel resonant circuit having a coil and a capacitor and an LC series resonant circuit having a coil and a capacitor, are arranged substantially parallel to one another in an array and integrally provided. Grounding capacitors that define the filter elements are arranged so that a common ground-side electrode faces signal-side electrodes and is connected to an inductance adjusting conductor that defines the LC series resonant circuits along with the capacitors through a via hole. The lengths of the inductance adjusting conductor from a connection location within the via hole to ground terminals are substantially equal in each of the filter elements.

A multilayer array electronic component includes a multilayer composite including a helical coil and a capacitor that are defined by stacking a coil conductor, a capacitor conductor, and a ceramic sheet on one another. External electrodes are arranged on the surface of the multilayer composite and electrically connected to the helical coil or the capacitor. A direction identification mark is arranged on the upper surface of the multilayer composite and electrically connected to any of the external electrodes through the helical coil or the capacitor.

Multilayer electronic component and multilayer array electronic component

A noise filter includes a plurality of LC parallel resonant circuits having a plurality of coils which are connected in series and electrically connected to external electrodes at both ends thereof, and capacitors which are connected in parallel to the coils, respectively, and are disposed inside an insulator while being sequentially connected in tandem to signal wires. Resonance frequencies of the respective LC parallel resonant circuits are preferably different from each other. Further, a shield electrode is disposed between the coils, and the shield electrode also defines a capacitance-forming electrode for preventing magnetic coupling between the two coils.

A multilayered LC composite component includes a main body having a pair of side surfaces, a pair of end surfaces, and an upper surface and a lower surface. Ground-side terminal electrodes are disposed at the center of the side surfaces and hot-side terminal electrodes are disposed along edges of the side surfaces. Each of the hot-side terminal electrodes includes an end surface extended portion extending to each of the end surfaces. The end-surface extended portion is arranged so that at least the approximate center of each of the end surfaces is exposed.
