The present invention aims to provide hepatitis C virus inhibitors capable of inhibiting viral replication in hepatitis C virus-infected cells. The replication of hepatitis C virus can be inhibited and hepatitis C virus-infected cells can be specifically injured by specifically inhibiting BGT-1 or AKR1C1 involved in the replication of hepatitis C virus. Thus, viral inhibitors comprising a substance inhibiting BGT-1 or AKR1C1 are effective for the treatment of hepatitis C.

Method for manufacturing clad material and equipment for manufacturing the same

Equipment for manufacturing skin material of a clad material includes a casting apparatus which melts and mixes a metal for the skin material different from the core material in their component compositions, and casts the skin material; an ingot-cutting apparatus which cuts an ingot for skin material which is cast by the casting apparatus; and a conveying apparatus which conveys the ingot for skin material among each apparatus. The ingot-cutting apparatus is a slicing apparatus which slices the ingot for skin material into a predetermined thickness.

The weight ratio of Si/Mg is in the range of 1-2.5:1. The alloy may further comprise 0.03-0.5 wt % of Ni and/or one or more of Zr, Cr and Mn each in an amount of 0.05-0.5 wt %.

High strength, corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys for brazing

A high strength, corrosion-resistant alloy for brazing is disclosed, which alloy comprises 0.2-1.0 wt % of Cu 0.1-0.5 wt % of Mg, 0.2-1.0 wt % of Si, and the balance of Al and inevitably present impurities. The weight ratio of Si/Mg is in the range of 1-2.5:1. The alloy may further comprise 0.05-0.5 wt % of Ni and/or one or more of Zr, Cr and Mn each in an amount of 0.05-0.5 wt %.

Aluminum alloy composite materials for brazed heat exchangers are described, which comprise an Al core alloy essentially consisting of predetermined amounts of Si, Mg, Cu and at least one element selected from Mn, Cr and Zr, the balance being Al and inevitable impurities, and an Al alloy clad layer formed on one side of the core alloy which is in contact with an aqueous heat transfer medium. The clad layer has a thickness 3-20% based on the thickness of the composite material and a less-noble corrosion potential of 20-100 mV than the core alloy. A filler alloy may be formed on the other side of the core alloy.

An aluminum-base brazing alloy containing essentially up to 2 wt % of Cu, 0.01 to 0.08 wt % of Ti, and the balance of Al and unavoidable impurities, with or without at least one component selected from the group consisting of 0.01 to 0.5 wt % of Zr, 0.05 to 0.5 wt % of Mn and 0.05 to 0.5 wt % of Cr.
