A display device includes a display section configured to display images, and a controller configured to control the display section to display an indicator-needle motion-blurred image from an entire indicator-needle motion-blurred image that is an image previously stored in a storage unit and represents an afterimage corresponding to an entire rotation range within which an indicator needle is capable of rotating, the indicator-needle motion-blurred image representing an afterimage of the indicator needle that corresponds to a rotation range within which the indicator needle rotates per unit time when rotated. Consequently, the display device is effective at enabling the indicator needle to be appropriately displayed.

Display device

A display device includes a display unit and a controller. The display unit displays an image thereon. The controller is capable of, when the image is displayed as being moved, controlling the display unit to execute moving-manner correction processing in which pixels forming the image to be moved are displayed in display colors determined by corrected R, G, and B values obtained by adding RGB correction values to color component values provided as R, G, and B values that indicate red, green, and blue color components of respective display colors of corresponding pixels forming the image while the image has been stopped. Each of the RGB correction values has been previously determined in common for the color component values of a corresponding display color.

A vehicle display device includes an accommodating unit mounted on a vehicle, a ring-like decorative member disposed inside the accommodating unit, and a device configured to change a state of the decorative member depending on a travel mode of the vehicle. The device configured to change a state of the decorative member may be a drive device configured to change a posture of the decorative member depending on the travel mode. The drive device may change a posture of the decorative member to be different from that in the other travel mode if a first travel mode in which responsiveness of behavior of the vehicle in response to a driver's manipulation input is higher than that in the other travel mode is selected.

Vehicle display device

A vehicle display device includes: a housing unit having an opening facing an eye point side of a vehicle; a decorative member disposed inside the housing unit; a display device configured to display an image inside the housing unit, a drive device configured to move the decorative member in a width direction of the housing unit; and an illumination device operated depending on a movement of the decorative member to irradiate the decorative member with light. The illumination device may have a plurality of light sources arranged along the width direction.
