According to an aspect of the present invention, a dental alginate impression material includes an alginate, calcium sulfate, and an aminocarboxylic acid compound.

Dental alginate impression material

Provided is an impression tray with which three-dimensional data is easily obtained, including an upper jaw impression tray and lower jaw impression tray, wherein the upper jaw impression tray includes an upper jaw impression tray main bodyincluding a surface where the impression material is to be placed; the lower jaw impression tray includes a lower jaw impression tray main body including a surface where the impression material is to be placed; a handle is attachably and detachably provided on at least either one of the upper jaw impression tray main body and lower jaw impression tray main body; and the handle, having a posture of attachment, projects from at least any one of a labial side, the upper jaw impression tray excepting the surface where the impression material is to be placed, and lower jaw impression tray excepting the surface where the impression material is to be placed.

To provide a dual curing type composite resin for core build-up having improved curing property by chemical polymerization with improved mechanical strength of a cured body under the condition of no light irradiation and with a shortened setting time, the composite resin is composed of a first component including a (meth)acrylate polymerizable resin and an organic peroxide, and a second component including (meth)acrylate polymerizable resin and a reducing agent, a photopolymerizaton initiator and a filler are included in the first component and/or the second component, and oxide powder of a Group II element in the periodic table having an average particle diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or less is blended in the first component and/or the second component.

To provide a photopolymerizable dental coating composition that, when applied to the surface of a dental resin material such as crown restoratives, dental fillers, and denture or denture base resins, is thoroughly cured upon irradiation with a visible light and produces a smooth, colorless and transparent cured surface after curing so that a film having superior durability, abrasion resistance and resistance to discoloration can be formed, the photopolymerizable dental coating composition includes a volatile (meth)acrylate compound, a polyfunctional acrylate as a cross-linking agent, a fluoroalkyl group constituted of at least one fluorocarbon-containing (meth)acrylate compound for improving the durability, abrasion resistance and resistance to discoloration after curing, and an acyl phosphine oxide-based polymerization initiator having a high polymerization promoting effect for monomers, which does not make the polymerized composition remain yellowish.

Photopolymerizable dental coating composition

A paste-like polymerizable composition in which two or three pastes are intimately mixed with each other to polymerize, the pastes do not gel and their polymerization curing times being stable, even when the pastes before the polymerization are preserved for a long time, the paste-like polymerizable composition is constructed of a first paste containing (a) a (meth)acrylate having at least one unsaturated double bond, (b) a filler and (c) a pyrimidinetrione derivative; and a second paste containing (a) a (meth)acrylate having at least one unsaturated double bond, (b) a filler, (d) an organic halide and (e) an organometallic compound, or a third paste containing (a) a (meth)acrylate having at least one unsaturated double bond, (b) a filler and (d) an organic halide and a fourth paste containing (a) a (meth)acrylate having at least one unsaturated double bond, (b) a filler and (e) an organometallic compound.

Paste-like polymerizable composition

There is provided a resin composition for soft relining material that can meet the performances required in a soft relining material for denture base, such as a proper softness and fitness between a denture base and an oral mucosa, without using a phthalate-based plasticizer widely used in the conventional art resin composition for soft relining material, which is pointed out to have a possibility for influencing living bodies as an endocrine disruptor. The soft resin composition for denture base is constructed of (a) a (meth)acrylate monomer having at least one unsaturated double bond; (b) an aliphatic acid ester-based plasticizer; (c) a (meth)acrylate polymer or copolymer; and (d) a polymerization initiator.

Resin composition for soft relining material

A resin material for denture base that is less in possibility to incorporate air bubbles into a mixed material, exhibits a proper elasticity during the elimination from an oral cavity, not causing deformation, and can impress precisely the state in the oral cavity, is provided. The resin material for denture base is of a two-liquid type, constructed by (a) a methacrylate or acrylate monomer having at least one unsaturated double bond; (b) one or two or more polymers selected from the group consisting of a methacrylate polymer, an acrylate polymer, a methacrylate/acrylate copolymer, a methacrylate/styrene copolymer, and an acrylate/styrene copolymer; and (c) a polymerization initiator, wherein a liquid A comprises the polymer (b), the monomer (a) having a solubility to the polymer (b) of 20% by weight or more, and the polymerization initiator (c); and a liquid B comprises the polymer (b) and the monomer (a) having a solubility to the polymer (b) of less than 20% by weight.

Resin material for denture base

A resin composition for denture is provided, which does not require operations for weighing, and mixing during the use; is free from involving of air bubbles; and when used for preparation of a denture base, is free from a reduction in physical properties and staining or discoloration with a lapse of time. Further, a completed denture has a high elastic energy value, is superior in impact resistance, and when applied with an impact or a stress as in the case of dropping, is not readily broken. The resin composition for denture base is in a one-paste state and is constructed by (a) a polymerizable monomer and/or oligomer having a modulus of elasticity at polymerization of 0.25 to 3.00 GPa, (b) an organic filler and/or an organic-inorganic composite filler having a modulus of elasticity of 0.25 to 3.00 GPa, and (c) a polymerization initiator made of a heat polymerization type polymerization initiator and/or a photopolymerization type polymerization initiator, and optionally, (d) an inorganic filler.

Resin composition for denture base

A dental restorative composition is disclosed, comprising: (a) a methacrylate or acrylate monomer, (b) an organic-inorganic composite filler prepared by curing a mixture of a particulate filler having a mean particle size of 20 nm or less with a methacrylate or acrylate monomer having a viscosity of 60 cP or more and pulverizing the cured mixture, (c) a particulate filler having a mean particle size of 20 nm or less, and (d) a polymerization initiator, and further, if desired, (e) a glass powder having a maximum particle size of 5 &mgr;m or less and having a mean particle size of from 0.5 to 2 &mgr;m. The dental restorative composition according to the invention gives restorations having surface smoothness and transparency similar to natural teeth, having superior esthetics and superior physical properties such as bending strength and bending strain energy characteristics, and being provided with easy polishing.

Dental restorative composition

An adhesive for dental resin composite materials is disclosed, which comprises (a) from 10 to 40 parts by weight of tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate; (b) from 90 to 60 parts by weight of one or more methacrylates having at least one unsaturated double bond in one molecule thereof; and (c) from 0.04 to 0.12 part by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the monomer mixture consisting of (a) and (b), of a photopolymerization initiator, the adhesive for dental resin composite materials of the present invention having a proper viscosity, not causing the color remaining, is superior in the operability and esthetics, having further a satisfactory adhesive strength, and is of safe even when used in the mouth.
