A vehicle door is provided having an outer panel reinforced by a panel reinforcement and which is configured to generate low-frequency sound dominantly at the time of closing the door. The door has an outer panel openably/closably attached to a vehicle body by a front hinge; and a panel reinforcement extending in a vehicle front-rear direction on an inner side of the outer panel. The outer panel and the panel reinforcement are fixed by plural adhesion sections. The number of the adhesion sections in an upper area of the outer panel is larger than the number of the adhesion sections in a lower area of the outer panel. The number of the adhesion sections provided in a front lower area near the front hinge in the lower area is larger than the number of adhesion sections in a rear lower area away from the front hinge in the lower area.

Vehicle door

The vehicle door structure includes: a door outer panel including a projected section that projects outward in a vehicle width direction, a recessed section that is separated from the projected section and recessed inward in the vehicle width direction, and a boundary section between the projected section and the recessed section; and a panel reinforcement fixed to an inner surface in the vehicle width direction of the door outer panel. The panel reinforcement includes: a first frame section that extends in a vehicle front-rear direction; and a second frame section at a position that overlaps the boundary section in the vehicle side view and is configured to be able to transmit a load to the first frame section at the time when the load in an inward direction of the vehicle width direction is applied to the boundary section.

Vehicle door structure

A side vehicle-body structure of a vehicle that suppresses displacement of a front wall portion of a center pillar to a vehicle-width-direction inner side with respect to a rear wall portion of the center pillar due to a side collision load. The side vehicle-body structure of the vehicle in which the center pillar does not exist on a body side includes a front door, and a rear door having a length in a front-rear direction shorter than a length of the front door in the front-rear direction. The rear door has a center pillar on a door side in a front portion, and a gusset member protruding from a rear wall portion of the center pillar to a door outer panel side with respect to an outer wall portion of the center pillar and having a receiving surface portion for a side collision load along the door outer panel.

Side vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A side vehicle-body structure of a vehicle capable of efficiently absorbing side collision energy while downsizing an energy absorbing material. The side vehicle-body structure includes a center pillar in which a lower end side is positioned on a vehicle-width-direction outer side with respect to an upper end thereof. The center pillar includes a breakage inducing portion that is provided to be close to a lower portion of an outer wall of the center pillar and induces breakage at time of a side collision, and a step-down portion provided in a corner portion of a center pillar outer wall of the breakage inducing portion. An energy absorbing material is disposed between the step-down portionand an inner panel.

Penetrating wind prevention structure for vehicle

Corner portions of an upper edge of the rear-side roofclose to the side windows protrude toward a front of the vehicle beyond a rear frame portion of the associated side window. Pillars are positioned on the respective corner portions inside the vehicle. Weatherstripseach include a lip portioncovering an upper end portion of the associated pillar from outside of the vehicle while the roof is closed. Sealing membersare respectively provided on the inside of the corner portions. An extended sealing portionextends from each sealing member. The extended sealing portionblocks a gap, formed between the associated corner portion and the associated pillar and intended for the lip portion, while the front-side roof is open. The lip portionof the weatherstripis sandwiched between the extended sealing portionand the pillar while the roof is closed.

Sealing structure for openable roof-equipped vehicle

An openable roof includes an expandable and retractable awning frame, and an awning cloth for covering the outside of the awning frame. The awning frame is provided with an awning bow which supports the awning cloth when the awning frame is expanded. The awning bow includes a pair of left and right leg portions extending in up and down directions, and an upper side portion which connects between upper ends of the leg portions in a vehicle width direction. Each of the leg portions of the awning bow is formed with two or more bent parts. At least one pair of the bent parts on each of the leg portions are configured such that moments generated in the awning bow due to a tensile force exerted from the awning cloth when the openable roof is in an expanded state act in such directions as to cancel out each other.

Openable vehicle roof structure

A holding device to hold an openable roof when the openable roof is stored is provided at a front portion of a storage partition. There is provided a changing member to change a hook having an open position from its open position to its pre-lock position by being pressed down by the hook taking the open position when the openable roof is operated for storage in the storage partition. The changing member is provided adjacently to the holding device. Thereby, a rear vehicle-body structure of a vehicle which can surely change the hook from its open position to its pre-lock position can be provided.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A slide member to lock a roof member stored in a storage space by its rearward sliding and unlock the roof member by its forward sliding is provided. An operational member to rotate around a first rotational axis includes an operational portion to be operated from an inside of a vehicle compartment. A slide member slides longitudinally when a middle member rotates around a second rotational axis. The middle member is linked with the operational member such that it rotates in an opposite direction to a rotational direction of the operational member. The second rotational axis is located at a lower level than the first rotational axis such that the slide member slides forward to an unlock position when the middle member rotates according to an upward rotation of the operational portion.
