A method of manufacturing an inductor component includes preparing an insulating paste that is photosensitive and that includes a filler material composed of quartz, a glass material and a resin material, and a conductive paste, forming a first insulating layer by applying the insulating paste, and exposing the first insulating layer in a state where a first portion of the first insulating layer is shielded by a mask. The method further includes removing the first portion of the first insulating layer to form a groove at a position corresponding to the first portion, applying the conductive paste in the groove to form a coil conductor layer in the groove, and applying the insulating paste on the first insulating layer and the coil conductor layer to form a second insulating layer.

Method of manufacturing an inductor component

An inductor component comprising an element body including a first end surface and a second end surface opposite to each other, and a bottom surface connected between the first end surface and the second end surface; a coil disposed in the element body and including a coil conductor layer wound in a planar shape on a vertical plane for the first end surface, the second end surface, and the bottom surface; and a first external electrode and a second external electrode embedded in the element body so as to be exposed from at least the bottom surface and electrically connected to the coil. The first external electrode has an end edge extending in a direction orthogonal to the vertical plane, and the end edge is formed into an uneven shape.

Inductor component

A laminated inductor component includes a multilayer body which includes a first side surface, a second side surface and a bottom surface, and in which a plurality of insulator layers is laminated in a lamination direction; a coil conductor in helical form including a plurality of coil conductor layers wound on the insulator layers, and having a coil length parallel to the lamination direction; a first outer conductor electrically connected to a first end of the coil conductor and exposed from the first side surface and the bottom surface in the multilayer body; and a second outer conductor electrically connected to a second end of the coil conductor and exposed from the second side surface and the bottom surface in the multilayer body. A width along the lamination direction of each of the first outer conductor and the second outer conductor is shorter than the coil length.

Laminated inductor component

An inductor component comprising an insulating layer containing no magnetic substance, a spiral wiring formed on a first principal surface of the insulating layer and wound on the first principal surface, and a magnetic layer in contact with at least a portion of the spiral wiring.

Inductor component and method of manufacturing same

A multilayer inductor component includes an element body that is an insulator and a coil in which a plurality of coil conductor layers that extend along planes in the element body are electrically connected to each other. Also, each of the coil conductor layers includes metal part and glass part, and the glass part include internal glass portion that is entirely included in the metal part.

Multilayer inductor component and method for manufacturing multilayer inductor component

An electronic component includes insulator layers having first and second sides respectively extending in first and second directions from a first point, and outer conductor layers extends in the first and second direction from the first point. Each of the outer conductor layers has second and third points. One of the outer conductor layers has a fixing portion inside a region having a third side connecting the second and third points, and fourth and fifth sides respectively extending from the second point in the reverse first direction and from the third point in the reverse second direction.

Electronic component

An inductor component has an element body, a coil disposed in the element body, and first and second external electrodes disposed in the element body and electrically connected to the coil. The element body includes a first end surface and a second end surface opposite to each other and a bottom surface connected between the first end surface and the second end surface. The first external electrode is formed on the first end surface side of the bottom surface while the second external electrode is formed on the second end surface side of the bottom surface. A first end of the coil is connected to an end portion on the first end surface side of the first external electrode while a second end of the coil is connected to an end portion on the second end surface side of the second external electrode.

A magnetic substrate has such a shape that ridges extending between principal surfaces are cut away by cutout portions. A multilayer body has corners arranged so as to overlap the cutout portions. A coil includes lead portions which are connected with both ends of a coil portion and which are drawn out to the corners. A coil is combined with the coil to constitute a common mode choke coil and includes lead portions which are connected with both ends of a coil portion and which are drawn out to the corners. Connecting portions connect external electrodes to the lead portions and are provided at the cutout portion.
