According to one embodiment, a wireless access point includes a wireless communication unit to receive an authentication frame that includes attribute information of a wireless communication terminal and to transmit a response frame in response to the authentication frame. A retransmission limit setting unit sets a limit for transmissions of the response frame based on the attribute information included in the authentication frame. A controller controls transmission of the response frame according to the retransmission limit.

According to one embodiment, a video receiving apparatus includes: a receiving module for receiving identifiers of respective video transmitting apparatus and key information to be used for permitting a wireless communication with the video receiving apparatus; a connecting module for establishing a wireless connection with each video transmitting apparatus; a registering module for registering all or part of the one or more video transmitting apparatus; a first display control module for displaying identification information of the one or more video transmitting apparatus, selection images, registration information indicating whether or not the one or more video transmitting apparatus are registered, and connection information indicating whether or not wireless connections are established on a display screen; a video receiving module for receiving video from the specified video transmitting apparatus using the established wireless connection; and a second display control module for displaying the received video on the display screen.

According to one embodiment, a communication controller includes: an output module; a transmitter; and a receiver. The output module is configured to control output of image information to a display. The transmitter is configured to transmit the image information to a first communication device by unicast. The receiver configured to receive a transmission request of the image information from a second communication device. If the receiver receives the transmission request from the second communication device, the transmitter stops transmission of the image information to the first communication device by unicast, and transmits the image information to the first communication device and the second communication device by multicast.

Communication controller and communication control method

According to one embodiment, a television apparatus includes a receiving module, a display controller, a receiving controller, an obtaining module, a storage module, and a controller. The receiving module receives an operation for putting the television apparatus into a waiting state to connect to an external device. The display controller displays identification information identifying the television apparatus, security information generated randomly, and displays screen information received from the external device. The receiving controller receives the request for connection and the security information. The obtaining module obtains external-device identification information identifying the external device if communication with the external device is initiated. The storage module stores the external-device identification information. The controller controls the display controller to display the screen information without putting the television apparatus into the waiting state if a request for communication is received from the external device.

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes: a display configured to display an image; a display magnification changing module configured to change display magnification of the image; a cursor display module configured to display a cursor; a receiver configured to receive a signal indicating a movement direction; and a cursor movement control module configured to move the cursor a first distance in the movement direction when the display is displaying the image with a first display magnification, and move the cursor a second distance that is longer than the first distance in the movement direction when the display is displaying the image with a display magnification that is larger than the first display magnification.
