A processing machine and a method of using the processing machine to process a block to form a dental prosthesis is provided. The processing machine includes a polishing jig. The polishing jig is for machining tools which makes it possible for a deteriorating machining tool to be used again without detaching the machining tool, with which the processing machine is equipped, from the processing machine. The polishing jig for machining tools comprises an attachment part to be attached to the processing machine; and a polishing face that is at least part of a surface of the polishing jig, the polishing face adapted to polish a processing part of a machining tool.

Method of forming a dental prosthesis

Provided is a block body that makes it possible to quickly produce a dental prosthesis with a good accuracy. A material of the block body including SiOin an amount of 60.0 mass % to 80.0 mass %, LiO in an amount of 10.0 mass % to 20.0 mass %, AlOin an amount of 5.1 mass % to 10.0 mass %, wherein the block body is formed in a column, and a main crystalline phase of the block body is lithium disilicate.

Provided is a method for quickly producing a dental prosthesis with a good accuracy. The method for producing a dental prosthesis including: a melting step of melting a material including no less than 60.0 mass % and no more than 80.0 mass % of SiO, no less than 10.0 mass % and no more than 20.0 mass % of LiO, and no less than 5.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of AlO; a glass blank production step of cooling to solidify the molten material to obtain a glass blank; a lithium disilicate blank production step of heating the glass blank to obtain a lithium disilicate blank whose main crystalline phase is lithium disilicate; and a processing step of processing the lithium disilicate by machining.

An observation supporting apparatus includes a position specifying section which specifies a coordinate point of a moving object detected in a viewing field through once observation.
