A motor includes a shaft centered on a central axis that extends vertically, a bearing that supports the shaft, and a stator including a coil radially opposing an outer peripheral surface of the shaft. The shaft includes a magnetization pattern in which at least two or more poles of N and S poles are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction.

Motor

A motor includes a stator, a rotor, and a bearing. The stator includes a shaft that extends in a vertical direction. The rotor is rotatable around the shaft. The bearing supports the rotor in a rotatable manner. The rotor includes a magnet, a case, and a tooth groove. The magnet is radially outward of the stator and opposes the stator in a radial direction. The case covers a radially outer end of the magnet. The tooth groove is provided in a radially outer surface of the case.

Motor and motor assembly

An input device includes a contact body to contact an object, a pressure sensor to detect pressure of contact of the contact body with the object, a vibrator to generate a vibration to provide a tactile sensation, and a vibration controller. The vibration of the vibrator when the pressure detected based on the output of the pressure sensor is large is larger than that when the pressure detected based on the output of the pressure sensor is small.

Input device and display input system

A vibration motor includes a stationary part, and a movable element which has a magnet and can vibrate in one direction. The stationary part includes a coil which applies a driving force to the magnet due to energization, a housing which houses the movable element and the coil therein, a first lid part which closes an end portion of the housing on one side in the one direction, and a first bearing part. The first bearing part is disposed inside the housing on the other side in the one direction from the first lid part. The first bearing part includes a bearing inner circumferential surface disposed with a gap therebetween with respect to an outer circumferential surface of a portion of the movable element on one side in the one direction.

Vibration motor

A dynamic pressure bearing apparatus includes a bearing portion, a shaft, a radial dynamic pressure bearing portion, and a seal gap. An annular member arranged in an annular shape, fixed to the shaft axially between the seal portion and the attachment surface, and arranged to extend radially outward beyond an opening of the seal gap. A minute horizontal gap extending radially is defined between an upper surface of the bearing portion and a lower surface of the annular member. The seal gap is arranged to be in communication with an exterior space through the horizontal gap.

Dynamic pressure bearing apparatus and fan

There is provided a blower fan including a motor. In its bearing apparatus, the inner circumferential surface of the rotor cylindrical portionand the outer circumferential surface of the bearing portion are arranged to together define a seal gap. The bushingincludes a bushing base portionand a bushing cylindrical portion. The inner circumferential surface of the bushing cylindrical portionand the outer circumferential surface of the rotor cylindrical portionare arranged to together define a vertical gap. The vertical gap is arranged to have a minimum radial width equal to or smaller than a maximum width of the seal gap. A lower end portion of the rotor raised portionand an upper end portion of the bushing cylindrical portionare arranged to together define a second horizontal gap

Blower fan

A centrifugal fan includes an impeller, a motor portion, and a housing. The housing includes an upper plate portion, a lower plate portion arranged to have the motor portion fixed thereto; and a side wall portion. A flow control member is arranged to extend in a line along a boundary between an inside surface of the side wall portion and one of a lower surface of the upper plate portion and an upper surface of the lower plate portion. The flow control member includes a flow control surface arranged to extend radially outward from the one of the lower surface of the upper plate portion and the upper surface of the lower plate portion to the inside surface of the side wall portion while becoming more distant from the one of the lower surface of the upper plate portion and the upper surface of the lower plate portion.

Centrifugal fan having a flow control member

A fan includes a motor and an impeller. The motor includes a stationary portion and a rotating portion rotatably supported by the stationary portion. The stationary portion includes a stator and a bearing portion arranged inside of the stator. The rotating portion includes a rotor magnet arranged radially outside the stator; a shaft inserted in the bearing portion, and having an upper portion fixed to the impeller directly or through one or more members; and a thrust portion arranged axially opposite the bearing portion, and including an annular surface arranged around the shaft.

A dynamic pressure bearing apparatus includes a bearing portion; a shaft; a substantially annular bushing; a radial dynamic pressure bearing portion; and a seal gap. A minute horizontal gap extending radially is defined between an upper surface of the bearing portion and a lower surface of the bushing. The seal gap is arranged to be in communication with an exterior space through the horizontal gap.

Fan bearing system having a fluid reservoir

In the present invention, to reduce the noise of a spindle motor, a bush member is interposed between a base plate and an FDB unit. The base plate is a base of the spindle motor and of which a case of a hard disk drive is consisted. The FDB unit is a bearing unit which has a shaft, a sleeve having an inner peripheral surface opposed to an inner peripheral surface of the shaft, and a bearing housing formed integrally with the sleeve.
