A rear-wheel suspension system for a two-wheeled vehicle includes a pair of right- and left-side center frames; a swing arm; and a shock absorber, wherein the shock absorber includes a tubular buffer and a spring, wherein the intake system part is a curved tubular member, wherein a position of the spring is shifted downwardly so that the intake system part are moved toward an interior of the vehicle body by a dimension corresponding to the spring, wherein a lower end of the intake system part is above the upper end of the spring, wherein a part of the intake system part is closer than an outer end of the spring to the center of the tubular buffer, and wherein the shock absorber and the intake system part are disposed between a pair of right- and left-side center frames.

Rear-wheel suspension system for two-wheeled vehicle

A suspension structure includes a pair of right and left cushion units. The right cushion unit is constituted of a compression coil spring and a right damper, and the left cushion unit is constituted of only a left damper having an outer diameter smaller than a diameter of the compression coil spring and larger than a diameter of the right damper. The left cushion unit is constituted of only the left damper and does not include the compression coil spring and hence, the suspension structure can be simplified. Further, in the left cushion unit, the left damper does not slide relative to the compression coil spring in performing a stroke and hence, no friction is generated.

Suspension structure

A rear-wheel suspension system for a two-wheeled vehicle capable of further reducing a vehicle width. An upper end of a coil spring of a shock absorber includes a tubular damper case, a rod connected to a piston disposed within the shock absorber and protrusively provided to be capable of making strokes with respect to the tubular damper case and an external hydraulic sub-tank positioned to be lower than an upper end of the shock absorber. Vehicle body component parts include a connecting tube and the sub-tank disposed to be close to the shock absorber above the coil spring.

Rear-wheel suspension for two-wheeled vehicle

A disc brake cover structure for a vehicle includes a protection cover and a wheel collar. The protection cover is to protect a rotor of a disc brake disposed at a front wheel of a vehicle. The front wheel is rotatably supported via a support shaft between first and second axle holders disposed at a front fork. A wheel collar is to be supported on the support shaft to position the front wheel and connected to the protection cover. The wheel collar is arranged to be sandwiched between a hub of the front wheel and either one of the first and second axle holders.

A steering damper ensures a wide longitudinal illumination range of a road surface when a light unit is provided and facilitates layout of parts and simplifies structure without degrading appearance. A steering damper mounting structure is provided for a vehicle, which includes a head pipe, a front fork, a fork bridge, and a steering damper. The steering damper is mounted on the fork bridge and the head pipe. The steering damper dampens a movement transmitted from a side of the front wheel to a handlebar. In this steering damper mounting structure, the steering damper is mounted to the head pipe and the top bridge and disposed on the side of the top bridge between the top bridge and the bottom bridge. Additionally, a light unit is disposed on the side of the bottom bridge between the top bridge and the bottom bridge.

Steering damper mounting structure for a vehicle

A steering damper mounting structure of a vehicle includes a head pipe, a front fork, a fork bridge, and a steering damper. The front fork, which suspends a front wheel, is steerably disposed on the head pipe. The fork bridge connects left and right members of the front fork. The steering damper is mounted on the fork bridge and the head pipe. The steering damper dampens a steering directional movement transmitted from a road surface to a handlebar via the front wheel and the front fork. A lower mounting portion on a side of the head pipe is disposed on a side of an axis as a center of pivotal motion of the front fork relative to the fork bridge, more specifically, an upper mounting portion on a side of the top bridge. The resulting configuration reduces the size of a front portion of a vehicle and a steering damper.

A chain guide for guiding a chain includes a chain passage formed by an outer side wall and an inner side wall for surrounding the chain passage. A front end portion of the inner side wall is retracted to and is positioned at a rear side of a vehicle body than a front end portion of the outer side wall. Guide ribs are formed on an upper wall and a bottom wall and are brought into sliding contact with upper and lower sides of the chain. A discharge recessed portion which is opened frontwardly from the front end portion is formed in the inner side wall, wherein the chain passage is in communication with the outside through the discharge recessed portion. Mud or the like which is carried into an inlet falls in the inside of a vehicle body disposed outside the chain guide from the discharge recessed portion

Chain guide device

A tubeless-tire spoke wheel with spokes threaded directly into integral bores of the wheel rim. The integral bores have closed ends which allow for a large degree of tubeless-tire design flexibility while also providing enhanced strength characteristics. This results in stiffer, stronger designs while providing for lighter, more energy efficient wheels.

To provide a water jet propeller that enables an efficient flow of water from a water flow duct to an impeller housing even if an inner periphery of the impeller housing has an inside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of a rear end portion of the water flow duct. A water jet propeller has a stator disposed at a rear end portion of an impeller housing. An impeller is disposed inside the impeller housing. The water jet propeller expels a water jet by rotating the impeller. The water jet propeller further has the impeller disposed so as to circumvent a front end portion of an inner periphery of the impeller housing. The impeller housing includes a liner disposed over a region facing the impeller and representing the inner periphery of the impeller housing, except for the front end portion. The front end portion is formed to have an inside diameter that gradually increases forwardly.

Water jet propeller

A drive shaft supporting structure for a small boat is provided which permits simplification of a hull and for which manufacturing productivity is increased. The drive shaft supporting structure includes a shaft-supporting member for rotatably supporting a drive shaft inside of a hull, and an elongate cylindrical sleeve. The cylindrical sleeve is arranged between the shaft-supporting member and a hull opening which permits penetration of the drive shaft through the hull. The drive shaft supporting structure is configured in such a manner that a front end portion of the cylindrical sleeve is connected to the shaft-supporting member and a rear end portion of the cylindrical sleeve is connected to the hull opening.

A coupling joint structure for a boat where the output of an engine can be securely transmitted to a propeller shaft and centrifugal force can be reduced. The structure includes a first coupler on the driving side to an output shaft, a second coupler on the driven side to a propeller shaft, and a damper member interposed between the second coupler on the driven side and the first coupler on the driving side. The first coupler on the driving side and the second coupler on the driven side each include pawl pieces. In a first curved part of each of the pawl pieces on the driving side, the base (wall thickness t) is made thicker than the end (wall thickness t). In a second curved part of each of the pawl pieces on the driven side, the base (wall thickness t) is made thicker than the end (wall thickness t).

Jet pump mounting structure of a small-sized boat including a front face of a thrust plate attached to a rear face of a front wall of a pump case, and a jet pump attached to a rear face of the thrust plate. The jet pump is arranged in the pump case. The front wall is formed at an up grade toward the rear of the hull, the front face of the thrust plate is formed at an up grade so that the front face is parallel to the front wall, and the rear face of the thrust plate is formed in parallel with a plane perpendicular to the axis of the jet pump.

The water jet propeller includes a stator disposed at a rear-end portion of an impeller housing, and an impeller is disposed inside the impeller housing. The water jet propeller expels a water jet by rotating the impeller. The impeller of the water jet propeller is rotatably mounted to the stator, being disposed inside the impeller housing. The impeller housing, the stator, and a nozzle are connected integrally with each other using a connection bolt. The impeller housing and the stator are connected integrally with each other using a lock bolt.
