The present invention relates to a coaxial cable, and particularly to a small-diameter coaxial cable for use in frequency bands of 100 MHz or more. The present invention addresses the problem of providing a coaxial cable which has excellent flexibility, a small outer diameter, and excellent shielding characteristics. The problem is solved by a coaxial cable having an outer conductor which is formed by mixing and laterally winding strands in the same direction, the strands having an outer diameter difference of not less than 10% between a large-diameter strand having a maximum outer diameter and a small-diameter strand having a minimum outer diameter.

Provided herein is a multi-core cable through which positions of a plurality of insulated conductors and a plurality of non-insulated conductors in a cross section in a longitudinal direction are changed and a likelihood of transmission performance being reduced is low. A multi-core cable includes n conductor bundles.

Multi-core cable and production method therefor

A composite cable having, on the inside of a sheath, a tube and a plurality of cables. When said composite cable is suspended in a hoop shape with the entire composite cable as a cable to be tested, if the maximum value for the inner diameter of said hoop is measured as D1 and the inner diameter of the hoop at a position 100 mm from the top edge of the hoop when the hoop is subjected to a load of 1 kg is measured as D2, the condition D1&#x2212;D2&#x3e;70 mm is satisfied. The tube partially or entirely includes a layer made from porous polytetrafluoroethylene, and if the outer diameter and the inner diameter of the layer of the tube are respectively defined as (D) and (d), the condition (D&#x2212;d)/D falls within the range of 0.27 to 0.75.
