A joint connector, including: a connector housing; a joint terminal; a terminal holder; and a lock arm that is formed in an outer peripheral wall of the connector housing, in which a rear end portion of the terminal holder is provided with convex portions that protrude rearward from a rearmost end edge of the connector housing in a proper assembled state of the terminal holder with respect to the connector housing.

A connector which is held on an outer peripheral surface of a wire harness having a connector housing which includes an outer peripheral wall on which a tape is to be peripherally wound, and an outermost surface of the outer peripheral wall of the connector housing is provided with: a plurality of planar outer surfaces, ridge line portions, the ridge line portion is provided with a corner-removed chamfered portion and a non-chamfered portion, and the non-chamfered portion is engaged with a side edge of a tape wound around the outer surfaces so as to be used as a position displacement regulation projection configured to regulate an axial position displacement of the connector housing with respect to the tape.

Connector and wire harness

A connector for a sun visor includes a bracket attached to an attachment member, an arm portion which rotatably supports a sun-visor body arranged on one side of the attachment member and of which an end is rotatably inserted into the bracket, a housing fixed to the other side of the attachment member of the bracket and arranged near the end of the arm portion, a connector terminal accommodated in the housing and including a mating connection portion arranged on the other side of the attachment member and an arm-connection portion connected to the end of the arm portion, a fixing portion provided in the connector terminal, and fixing the connector terminal to the housing, and a pressing portion provided at a portion of the connector terminal which faces the bracket, abutting on the bracket, and pressing the connector terminal in an insertion direction of the fixing portion.

Connector for sun visor

A lever-type connector includes a housing and a lever. The lever is pivotally mounted on the housing, and is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing, and locks the lever positioned at the fitting completion position. The housing is configured to be fitted to a mating housing by rotating the lever from a fitting start position to the fitting completion position. The housing has a pair of walls that are provided at both sides of the lock portion. Arm protection walls are provided on upper edges of the pair of walls respectively with extending inward so as to cover both sides of the flexible arm portion of the lock portion.

Lever-type connector

A connector terminal for a sun visor includes a body portion accommodated in a housing fixed to one side of an attachment member of a bracket, the bracket configured to be attached to the attachment member, a mating connection portion provided on one end of the body portion and connected to a mating terminal arranged on one side of the attachment member, an arm connection portion provided on the other end of the body portion and connected to an end of an arm portion rotatably supporting a sun visor body arranged on the other side of the attachment member, the end being inserted into the bracket, and a fixed portion provided between the mating connection portion and the arm connection portion of the body portion and fixed to the housing.

Connector terminal for sun visor

A sun visor connector includes: a bracket; an arm portion having an end inserted through the bracket to be rotatably arranged; a housing fixed to the bracket and arranged in a vicinity of the end of the arm portion inserted through the bracket; a pair of connector terminals accommodated in the housing and connected to counterpart terminals; a pair of arm connection parts provided in an elastically deformable manner on the pair of connector terminals and connected by sandwiching the end of the arm portion by a biasing force; and a preliminary displacement portion provided in the housing, abutting on the pair of arm connection parts, and causing the pair of arm connection parts to be arranged in a separated manner by keeping a biasing force against the end of the arm portion.

Sun visor connector

A sun visor connector includes: a bracket attached to an attachment member; an arm portion rotatably supporting a sun visor main body and having an end inserted through the bracket to be rotatably arranged; a housing fixed to the bracket and arranged in a vicinity of the end of the arm portion inserted through the bracket; a connector terminal accommodated in the housing and connected to a counterpart terminal; an arm connection part provided in an elastically deformable manner on the connector terminal and connected to the end of the arm portion by a biasing force; an engaging portion including a projecting portion provided in the housing and a recessed portion provided in the bracket and engaged with the projecting portion; and a first restricting portion provided in the projecting portion and pressed against and abuts on the recessed portion in a deformation direction of the arm connection part.

A connector includes a housing, a terminal metal fitting inserted into a housing chamber forwardly in a housing direction, and a spacer locking the terminal metal fitting. The terminal metal fitting has a plate-like lock piece extending in the housing direction. The terminal metal fitting is locked by contacting a rear edge of the lock piece with the spacer. The housing has an opening region between two adjacent terminal housing chambers and a support wall extending from a peripheral end portion of the opening region backwardly in the housing direction. The support wall supports a tip portion of the terminal metal fitting to eliminate movement of the tip portion through the opening region, even when the terminal metal fitting moves backwardly in the housing direction while allowing the rear edge of its lock piece to dig into the spacer.

A vehicle sun visor has a sun visor body including an electrical component, an arm including a cylindrical-end portion with contact parts of a pair of conductors and rotatably holding the sun visor body, a mounting bracket for mounting the arm to a vehicle, and a connector including a pair of terminals to contact with a corresponding contact part of the pair of conductors. On the upper side and the lower side of the cylindrical-end portion exposed outside an arm-supporting portion of the mounting bracket, a small-diameter cylindrical-end portion and a large-diameter cylindrical-end portion are provided. The small-diameter cylindrical-end portion and the large-diameter cylindrical-end portion are provided with cutouts provided at alternate positions. First arcuate plate shape contact part is arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the small-diameter cylindrical-end portion, and second arcuate plate shape contact part is arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter cylindrical-end portion.

Vehicle sun visor

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted and removed from a mating housing of a mating connector and a lever. The lever is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position of the lever. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. A lock portion is provided on the housing. Lever disengagement prevention portions are provided on both sides of the housing so as to cover at least respective parts of the side plates of the lever positioned at the fitting completion position from outside.

A lever-type connector includes a housing configured to be inserted into a mating housing of a mating connector, and a lever that is pivotally operable between a temporary locking position and a fitting completion position. The lever includes a pair of side plates and an operating portion. The housing has a lever-protection wall, protruding outward beyond a pivotal outer peripheral end of the lever disposed at the temporary locking position, the lever-protection wall being provided at an end portion of the housing in a direction opposite to a rotational direction in which the lever rotates from the temporary locking position toward the fitting completion position. The lever disposed at the temporary locking position is arranged so that the operating portion of the lever overlaps the lever-protection wall.

A connector having a connector housing, the connector includes a columnar terminal accommodating portion that is provided with a terminal accommodating chamber accommodating terminals therein and a hood portion that surrounds an outer circumferential surface of the terminal accommodating portion to have a gap between the hood portion and the outer circumferential surface so that a fitting tube of a mating connector is fitted into the gap, and is formed with a retainer insertion opening serving as an insertion port of a retainer locking the terminals in the terminal accommodating chamber. In the connector, the retainer insertion opening has an opening inner-edge surface facings in a fitting direction toward the mating connector, and the opening inner-edge surface is recessed in a direction opposite to the fitting direction and a center part of the opening inner-edge surface is most recessed.

Connector

An electric wire with a terminal is formed by coating a crimp terminal and a crimp connection portion of an electric wire with an anti-corrosive material. When the electric wire with a terminal is manufactured, in a step of setting the terminal in a mold, in a position within a cavity corresponding to the upper surface of a front end of the anti-corrosive material, a release promoting member for promoting release of the mold from a resin is arranged, and in such a state, the anti-corrosive material is molded.

When a female connector body is inserted into a hood portion in a temporary lock state of a moving plate, plate lifting locks are deflected in a falling-over direction which is different from an outside direction of a male connector housing by lock portions and the plate lifting locks and the lock portions are engaged with each other after the plate lifting locks are deflected in the falling-over direction.

A lever-operative connector which can be downsized includes a frame and a lever rotatably coupled to the frame. The frame has a circumferential wall having one opening and the other opening at both ends. The frame has a notch formed in the circumferential wall and communicating with the one opening. When the lever is rotated toward the one opening side, a part of a lever side wall is exposed from an interior of the circumferential wall so as to compensate the notch of the circumferential wall, thereby forming, together with the frame, a hood having the housing-receiving width. When the lever is rotated toward the other opening side, the part of the lever side wall is received inside the circumferential wall so as to open the notch of the circumferential wall, thereby eliminating the housing-receiving width and the hood.
