A light-irradiation-device delivery apparatus includes: a metal needle tube having a longitudinal axis, a side hole, which penetrates from an inner circumferential surface to an outer circumferential surface, and a blade surface at a distal end thereof; an optical fiber that is accommodated inside the needle tube, the optical fiber including a core allowing light to propagate, a clad covering an outer circumferential surface of the core, and an emission area provided at a distal-end section of the optical fiber; and a positioning member that positions the emission area between a distal end and a proximal end of the needle tube in the longitudinal-axis direction. The distal end of the optical fiber is positioned in an interior space of the needle tube in a state where the emission area is positioned between the distal end and the proximal end of the side hole.

Light-irradiation-device delivery apparatus and phototherapy method

In a method of forming an access route to the bile duct, a needle is introduced into a duodenum, and the introduced needle is pierced into an oral side projection of a duodenal papilla, which is located at an oral position than an opening of the duodenal papilla. An endoscope treatment tool includes: a sheath; a clip unit; a biasing member arranged between a distal end part of the sheath and the clip unit; and a first rotation preventing part capable of preventing the clip unit from rotating relative to the distal end part of the sheath about a longitudinal axis. The clip unit includes: a clip body; a holding tube; and a second rotation preventing part capable of preventing the clip body from rotating relative to the holding tubes about the longitudinal axis. The biasing member biases the holding tube so as to separate from the distal end part of the sheath. When a proximal end part of the holding tube comes into contact with the distal end part of the sheath against the biasing force of the biasing member, the first rotation preventing part prevents the relative rotation of the clip unit.

A stent delivery method includes: forming through-holes in an alimentary canal wall and a cyst wall so as to communicate with each other; passing a stent through the through-holes and placing a first expandable part in the alimentary canal and a second expandable part in the cyst; allowing the first expandable part to expand to an expanded state in the alimentary canal; and, after the expansion of the first expandable part, allowing the second expandable part to expand in the cyst while the alimentary canal wall is pressed by the first expandable part in the expanded state.

Stent delivery method

An endoscope treatment tool includes: a tubular sheath part; an operation wire; an arm member; a holding tube; and a biasing member. The sheath part includes an elongated body part, and a tubular member. In a state where the holding tube and the tubular member are in contact with each other, the holding tube and the tubular member are connected to each other so as not to be rotated relative to each other about an axis and to be movable relative to each other in a direction in which a central axis of the sheath part extends. The arm member and the holding tube have a rotation restricting structure that prevents the arm member from rotating about an axis of the holding tube in a state where the arm member is in contact with the holding tube against the biasing force of the biasing member.

A biopsy system includes an endoscope which includes an insertion portion having a channel, and a bendable portion provided in a distal end portion of the insertion portion; a needle tube which includes a distal end region, and a proximal end region having a higher bending rigidity than that of the distal end region; a sheath which can be inserted into the channel and inserted through by the needle tube; an attachment adapter which is provided on a proximal end side of the sheath and is capable of being mounted at the endoscope; and a connection member which connects the distal end region and the proximal end region, wherein the connection member can move within only a range of the insertion portion more proximal than a proximal end of the bendable portion and more distal than a proximal end of a follow-bending region.

In a puncture needle for an endoscope, in a state in which a distal end of an outer sheath is located in an observation field of an observation optical system of an endoscope and a needle slider is retracted to abut a needle slider engaging section, a distal end of an inner sheath is located closer to a distal side than a proximal end of a raising base in the outer sheath, and a proximal end of the inner sheath is located closer to a proximal side than a needle tip of a needle tube in the outer sheath.

A suction puncture device includes a puncture needle having an outer tube that has an opening edge of a first front end formed in the shape of a blade, and a stopper member that has a second front end disposed within the outer tube at a position separated from the first front end of the outer tube by a predetermined distance. A sample containing portion is formed between the second front end of the stopper member and the first front end of the outer tube. A ventilation passage is formed around the stopper member within the outer tube, a suction unit is connected to a first base end side of the outer tube, and the suction unit is communicated with and connected to the sample containing portion via the ventilation passage.
