An imaging system captures an image by detecting, by a sensor, radiation from a radiation generating apparatus, and transmits image data of the image captured by the sensor to a controller. The controller includes a control unit configured to control whether to permit the use of the sensor, based on whether the sensor already holds the captured image data at the time of connection of the sensor.

To improve use convenience to the user who executes imaging work in an imaging environment where plural X-ray generating apparatuses exist, a control apparatus for controlling X-ray irradiations performed by the plural X-ray generating apparatuses has: an obtaining unit for obtaining identification information for uniquely identifying one X-ray generating unit of the plural X-ray generating units, which is specified as a control target which is allowed to emit X-rays; and a control unit for, based on the obtained identification information, controlling so that, for a period of time during which the one X-ray generating unit is specified as the control target, processes regarding the X-ray irradiations by the other X-ray generating units are restricted.

A management apparatus which manages an image captured in a radiation detection apparatus by irradiation with radiation, manages imaging information which is input by a user and serves as information for imaging, obtains the captured image, and associates the obtained image with the imaging information. The management apparatus, when a mis-exposure notification is received from the radiation detection apparatus and manages the necessary imaging information, obtains the captured image.
