A tracker module includes an integrated circuit, a first capacitor and a second capacitor arranged in or on a module laminate. The integrated circuit includes at least one switch in a switched-capacitor circuit and at least one switch in a supply modulator. The switched-capacitor circuit is configured to generate a plurality of discrete voltages. The supply modulator is configured to generate an output voltage by selectively switching among the plurality of discrete voltages based on a control signal. The first capacitor is a flying capacitor of the switched-capacitor circuit. The second capacitor is a smoothing capacitor of the switched-capacitor circuit. In a plan view of the module laminate, the first capacitor is arranged closer to the integrated circuit than the capacitor.

Tracker module

A tracker module is provided that includes a second substrate that is separate from a first substrate, a tracker component, and a low pass filter. A power amplifier is disposed on or in the first substrate. Moreover, the tracker component supplies a power supply voltage to the power amplifier. The low pass filter is disposed on a path between an output terminal of the tracker component and the power amplifier. The tracker component and the low pass filter are disposed on or in the second substrate.

Tracker module, power amplifier module, radio frequency module, and communication device

A duplexer includes first and second filter circuits and first and second wirings. The first filter circuit allows a signal of a first frequency band to pass therethrough between a first terminal and a common terminal and includes a first resonator which is connected at one end to a line disposed between the first terminal and the common terminal to branch off from the line. The second filter circuit allows a signal of a second frequency band, which is different from the first frequency band, to pass therethrough between a second terminal and the common terminal. The first wiring is connected at one end to the common terminal and is opened at the other end. The second wiring is connected at one end to the other end of the first resonator and is grounded at the other end. The first wiring is electromagnetically coupled with second wiring.

Duplexer and front-end circuit

A communication module includes a first switch circuit that receives a first or second received signal and that outputs the first received signal from a first terminal thereof or the second received signal from a second terminal thereof, a first low-noise amplifier that amplifies the first received signal, a second low-noise amplifier that amplifies the second received signal, a first filter circuit disposed between the first switch circuit and the first low-noise amplifier, and a second filter circuit disposed between the first switch circuit and the second low-noise amplifier. The first filter circuit has greater signal loss than the second filter circuit. A signal path from the first terminal of the first switch circuit to the first low-noise amplifier via the first filter circuit has a shorter length than that from the second terminal of the first switch circuit to the second low-noise amplifier via the second filter circuit.

Communication module

An RF front-end module includes power amplifiers, transmission-side filters, a reception-side filter, and a switch IC. A first transmission signal is output from a first transmission signal input terminal to a first common terminal via the power amplifier and the transmission-side filter. A second transmission signal is output from a second transmission signal input terminal to a second common terminal via the power amplifier and the transmission-side filter. A first reception signal input from the first common terminal and a second reception signal input from the second common terminal are input via the switch IC to the reception-side filter, common to the first and second reception signals, and are output from the reception-side filter to a reception signal output terminal.

Radio-frequency front-end module

A power amplification circuit amplifies and then outputs transmission signals of a first frequency and a second frequency, which are different from each other. When the transmission signal of the first frequency is input, a first switch is turned ON, a first LC parallel resonant circuit enters a resonant state and the transmission signal is transmitted using a line containing a first capacitor as a main line. When the transmission signal of the second frequency is input, a second switch is turned ON, a second LC parallel resonant circuit enters a resonant state and the transmission signal is transmitted using a line containing a second capacitor as a main line. Therefore, a transmission signal does not pass through, using as a main line, a line into which a switch has been incorporated.

Power amplification circuit

In a high-frequency oscillator, a first resonance circuit and a second resonance circuit are respectively connected to a first amplifier circuit and a second amplifier circuit. A selection circuit includes a first switch circuit and a second switch circuit which selectively operate one of the first amplifier circuit and the second amplifier circuit. A grounded capacitor is connected to output sides of the first amplifier circuit and the second amplifier circuit. The grounded capacitor is commonly used by both the first amplifier circuit and the second amplifier circuit. An auxiliary grounded capacitor is connected between the first switch circuit and the first amplifier circuit. Accordingly, the grounded capacitor and the auxiliary grounded capacitor are connected to each other in parallel only when the first amplifier circuit is activated.

High-frequency oscillator and electronic apparatus

A voltage controlled oscillator includes a resonant circuit having a choke coil, a variable-capacitance diode, coupling capacitors, a resonant capacitor, a resonator, and a bypass capacitor. An amplifying circuit includes a buffer amplifying transistor, an oscillating transistor, bias resistors, Colpitts capacitors, bypass capacitors, a coupling capacitor, a choke coil, a resonant capacitor, and a resonant inductor which is an inductor element. A bias resistor has one end electrically connected to the base of the oscillating transistor and has the other end electrically connected to the ground via the resonant inductor having one end electrically grounded.

Voltage-controlled oscillator, composite module, and communication apparatus

A resonant circuit includes a choke coil, a variable-capacitance diode, coupling capacitors, a resonant capacitor, a resonator defining an inductor element, and a bypass capacitor. An amplifying circuit includes a buffer amplifying transistor, an oscillating transistor, bias resistors, Colpitts capacitors, bypass capacitors, a coupling capacitor, a choke coil, a resonant capacitor, and a resonant inductor. A bias resistor has one end electrically connected to the base of the oscillating transistor and has the other end electrically connected to the ground via the resonator having one end electrically grounded.
