Provided is a film forming method of a corrosion resistant film having a corrosion resistance under acidic atmosphere and a corrosion resistant member on which the corrosion resistant film is coated. The film forming method of the corrosion resistant film includes: bringing a substrate made of aluminum into contact with an aqueous solution containing sulfate ions and fluoride ions; and heating the substrate to boil the aqueous solution on a surface of the substrate and forming a corrosion resistant film containing at least oxygen, fluorine, and sulfur in the aluminum derived from the substrate on the surface of the substrate.

This disclosure provides a nonaqueous coolant composition excellent in insulation property, heat transfer characteristic, and hydrolysis resistance. Phonon scattering material, nanocomposite thermoelectric material, and method of producing the same

A nanocomposite thermoelectric conversion material composed of a Bi(TeSe)thermoelectric conversion material (where 0&#x2266;x&#x3c;1) as a matrix in which ceramic phonon scattering particles are dispersed. The nanocomposite thermoelectric conversion material produced by adjusting a first aqueous solution of a Bi complex to a higher pH value than an isoelectric point of phonon scattering particles, adding phonon scattering particles not modified on their surface to the pH adjusted first aqueous solution, and mixing the first aqueous solution to which phonon scattering particles have been added and a second aqueous solution including at least the former of Te anions and Se anions.
