Occurrence of a crosstalk phenomenon is prevented in a light-emitting device including a tandem element. The light-emitting device includes an insulating layer, a first lower electrode over the insulating layer, a second lower electrode over the insulating layer, a partition positioned over the insulating layer and between the first lower electrode and the second lower electrode, a first light-emitting unit over the first lower electrode, the partition, and the second lower electrode, intermediate layers over the first light-emitting unit, a second light-emitting unit over the intermediate layer, and an upper electrode over the second light-emitting unit. The partition has a first depression.

Light-emitting device and manufacturing method thereof

An organic EL display device is provided with: an organic EL element, which is formed on an insulating substrate, and which is provided between the insulating substrate and an insulating substrate; a sealing material, which is provided in a frame region, and which is sandwiched between the insulating substrate and the insulating substrate to bond the insulating substrates to each other; and a wall member, which is provided in the frame region by being adjacent to the outer face side of the sealing material, and which forms level differences in the sealing material so as to make the height of the outer face side of the sealing material small.

Organic EL display apparatus

The emission efficiency of a light-emitting device including a microcavity structure is improved. The light-emitting device includes a plurality of light-emitting elements. The plurality of light-emitting elements each include a reflective electrode, a transparent electrode, a plurality of light-emitting layers, and a semi-transmissive and semi-reflective electrode stacked in that order. The plurality of light-emitting layers emit light of different colors. A surface roughness of the transparent electrode in the light-emitting element which is among the plurality of light-emitting elements and in which light emitted from the light-emitting layer closest to the reflective electrode is amplified and emitted outside is greater than surface roughnesses of the transparent electrodes in the other light-emitting elements.

Light-emitting device

The light-emitting device includes a first lower electrode, a second lower electrode, a partition, a layer with high conductivity, light-emitting layers, and an upper electrode. The conductivity of the layer with high conductivity is higher than the conductivity of each of the light-emitting layers and lower than the conductivity of each of the lower electrodes and the upper electrode. The partition includes a first slope located on a first lower electrode side and a second slope located on a second lower electrode side. The thickness of the layer with high conductivity located over the first slope in a direction perpendicular to the first slope is different from the thickness of the layer with high conductivity located over the second slope in a direction perpendicular to the second slope.

Light-emitting device and method for manufacturing the same

Occurrence of a crosstalk phenomenon is suppressed in a light-emitting device including a tandem element. A light-emitting device includes a first lower electrode and a second lower electrode over an insulating layer; a partition which is formed over the insulating layer and positioned between the first lower electrode and the second lower electrode; a projecting object formed over the partition; a first light-emitting unit over each of the first lower electrode, the partition, the projecting object, and the second lower electrode; an intermediate layer over the first light-emitting unit; a second light-emitting unit over the intermediate layer; and an upper electrode over the second light-emitting unit. A recess is formed by a side surface of the projecting object and a side surface of the partition.

A lighting device includes light sources arranged at an end, light guide portions arranged along an arrangement direction of the light sources and receiving light from the light sources, and light output portions arranged along a direction crossing the arrangement direction and exiting light from the light guide portions. The light output portions include at least a first light output portion and a second light output portion. The first light output portion is arranged relatively close to the light sources and the second light output portion is arranged relatively farther from the light sources with respect to the first light output portion. The light guide portions include at least a first light guide portion and a second light guide portion, and the first light guide portion is optically connected to the first light output portion and the second light guide portion is optically connected to the second light output portion.
