The housing includes a first base portion and a second base portion which are conductive respectively. The first base portion and the second base portion are disposed in contact. The antenna element is connected to the antenna ground. The antenna ground is formed on the antenna board. The gasket is located between the first base portion and the antenna ground in a height direction of the housing, and is conductive. The fixing member fixes the second base portion and the antenna ground so that the second base portion and the antenna ground are electrically connectable to each other in a state where the gasket is in contact with the first base portion and the antenna ground.

Electronic apparatus

According to a notebook-sized personal computer of an embodiment, a base housing retains an arithmetic unit, an antenna having antenna elements, and covers. An LCD housing retains an LCD. Hinges rotatably couple the base housing and the LCD housing to each other. In the base housing, a pair of depression sections are formed by depressing both ends of one side thereof. In each of the pair of depression sections, an antenna element is accommodated. On the base housing, to end sections respectively adjacent to the pair of depression sections along the one side of the base housing, the hinges are respectively provided. The covers respectively accommodate each of the antenna elements, and are constituted of a material through which a radio wave is passed.

Electronic device

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first housing including an antenna for wireless communication, and a second housing including a speaker for audio output configured to be used in a state where the second housing overlaps the first housing. When the antenna and the speaker are seen through from an upper surface side of the first housing, a location of the antenna and a location of the speaker do not relatively overlap each other.

An information processor includes a first housing including a display, a second housing including an input device, a connection terminal combined with the first housing so as to be detachable, and a hinge which couples the connection terminal to the second housing, and transforms a mode into an open state, a closed state, a standing state, or a tablet state. The display and the input device are operable in the standing state. The display is operable, and the input device is inoperable in the tablet state.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, an electronic component and a first shield. The first substrate includes a first surface, a second surface, and an aperture. The second substrate includes a third surface fixed to the second surface. The electronic component is mounted on the third surface, passes through the aperture and protrudes from the first surface. The first shield includes a first portion facing the component protruding from the first surface, and second portions which extend from the first portion, are fixed to the first surface and face corner portions of the third surface respectively.

According to at least one embodiment, a television receiver includes: a display; a casing comprising an opening, the casing being configured house the display; a board configured to be housed in the casing; a connector configured to be mounted on the board and exposed from the opening; an elastic member between the connector and the casing, the elastic member being configured to touch the connector; a cover configured to be at least partially positioned at a side of the connector opposite to the elastic member and cover a part of the connector; and a restriction portion configured to be positioned at the side of the connector opposite to the elastic member and restrict movement of the connector.

According to at least one embodiment, a television includes a housing further including a pair of corner portions and an enclosed space on an inner side thereof, a pair of speaker boxes housed in the enclosed space in vicinities of the corner portions, a pair of speakers housed in the speaker boxes respectively in a direction which crosses a thickness direction of the housing, and each of the speaker boxes further includes a first duct to guide sounds from a first side of the respective speaker to the respective first opening portion and a second duct to guide sounds from a second side of the respective speaker towards the enclosed space.

Information processing apparatus

According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus is configured to be provided with a communication line socket provided on a backside surface of a casing of the electronic apparatus, metallic terminals provided in the communication line socket, and abutment sections each of which is provided in the vicinity of the communication line socket, and is given a predetermined height from the metallic terminals in an insertion direction of the communication line socket. By virtue of the above configuration, even if it is tried to insert a wrong plug into the communication line socket by mistake, the wrong plug abuts against the abutment sections, and the insertion is stopped on the way.

A speaker unit is arranged in a casing of an electronic apparatus. The speaker unit includes a cabinet, a speaker arranged in the cabinet and exposed to the outside of the cabinet, and a port which is defined in the cabinet to open the outside of the cabinet and through which a sound emitted from the backside of the speaker into the cabinet is radiated outward from the cabinet. The speaker is exposed to the outside of the casing through an opening defined in an outside wall of the casing. The port of the speaker unit opens into the casing.

According to one embodiment, a notebook PC includes a display unit, and a PC proper coupled to the display unit by hinges so that the PC can be opened and closed. The display unit includes a display panel, a case covering the back surface of the panel, and a reinforcing plate attached to and covers part of the outer surface of the case. The reinforcing plate enables the case of the display panel to be thinned and to have a sufficient rigidity.

Electronic apparatus capable of mounting a plurality of modules

When the wakeup signal generation function of a LAN docker is enabled, an ID (Dock_ID) peculiar to the LAN docker is registered in a PC main body. When the PC main body wakes up from the stop or sleep state in response to a wakeup signal Wake_up generated by a LAN controller in the LAN docker, a system BIOS collates the Dock_ID in the PC main body with the Dock_ID of the currently connected LAN docker. Only when a coincidence between the two IDs is detected by this collation process, the PC main body is accessible from a server using the LAN controller, thus allowing remote accesses.
