A guide wire holder includes a sheath having a lumen, an operation wire which is inserted through the lumen to be able to advance and retract, and a hook which is continuous with a distal end of the operation wire and protrudes from a distal end of the sheath, wherein the sheath has an inner wall surface which forms a groove configured to extend from the distal end of the sheath to a proximal end side of the sheath, the groove has an opening portion which opens to an outer peripheral surface of the sheath, the hook has a guide wire engagement surface which is engageable with a guide wire, and the guide wire is able to be held between the guide wire engagement surface and the inner wall surface.

Guide wire holder

A guide wire holder includes a sheath having a lumen, an operation wire inserted into the lumen and configured to be able to advance and retract in the lumen, and a hook continuous with a distal end of the operation wire, being formed to be bent in a convex shape toward a distal side, and protrudes from a distal end of the sheath. The sheath has a side surface extending from the distal end of the sheath to a proximal end side in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The hook intersects a ridge line of the side surface and forms a closed region closed by the hook and the ridge line in a front view. The guide wire holder is configured to hold the guide wire located outside the sheath in the closed region in a state that the hook is disposed at a retracted position at which the hook is retracted.

The present invention relates a puncture needle includes: a sheath having a longitudinal axis; a needle tube that is arranged inside the sheath to be moved along the longitudinal axis and that has a needle tip; and a protective tube that is arranged inside the needle tube to be moved along the longitudinal axis and that has a lumen into which a guide wire is inserted. The needle tube has a step portion formed at a position midway along the needle tube. The protective tube has a protrusion, which protrudes radially outward, on an outer peripheral surface thereof at a position midway nearer a proximal end side of the protective tube than the step portion is. A distal end of the protective tube is positioned at a position to protrude from the distal end of the needle tube when the protrusion abuts the step portion.

Puncture needle and method of using guide wire

A guidewire holding device comprises a sheath including a lumen, a holder disposed at a distal end of the sheath and configured to be switchable between holding a guidewire and releasing the guidewire, a treatment tool inserted in the lumen to perform an intended treatment, and a wire connected to the treatment tool and configured to move the treatment tool between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the treatment tool is contained insider the lumen, and, in the second configuration, the treatment tool is protruded from the distal end of the sheath.

A guide wire gripping device is provided that includes: a sheath; an advanceable and retractable part extending along the longitudinal axis of the sheath; an operation control that moves the advanceable and retractable part along the longitudinal axis; a grasping portion having a contact surface having a peripheral edge surrounded by a distal end, a proximal end, and a pair of side ends; and a support part connected to the advanceable and retractable part and fixed to one of the pair of side ends.

The disclosed technology is directed to a puncture needle access system for introducing guide wire into an interior of a tubular organ. The puncture needle access system includes an endoscope having an insertion portion. An endoscopic puncture needle is configured to be engaged with the insertion portion and includes an elongated tubular sheath having a lumen that extends in a longitudinal direction through the elongated tubular sheath. A tubular needle tube is inserted movably in the longitudinal direction into the lumen of the elongated tubular sheath. The tubular needle tube includes an inclined cutting-edge face formed at a distal end. The elongated tubular sheath includes an inclined surface oriented toward a distal end of the sheath so that the inclined surface comes closer to the elongated tubular sheath. The distal end of the sheath is located on a proximal end side of the sheath relative to a distal end of the inclined surface.

Endoscopic puncture needle

A catheter can include a catheter main body and a sheath that covers the catheter main body and can move along the longitudinal axis with respect to the catheter main body. An operating unit can be disposed at a proximal end portion of the sheath and can move the sheath and the catheter main body with respect to one another. The catheter main body can include a slit on an outer peripheral surface of a distal end portion and can extend along the longitudinal axis from a slit distal end to a slit proximal end side. An outside diameter of the distal end portion of the catheter main body is larger than an inside diameter of a distal end portion of the sheath when the distal end portion of the catheter main body is housed in the sheath.

A stent delivery method includes: forming through-holes in an alimentary canal wall and a cyst wall so as to communicate with each other; passing a stent through the through-holes and placing a first expandable part in the alimentary canal and a second expandable part in the cyst; allowing the first expandable part to expand to an expanded state in the alimentary canal; and, after the expansion of the first expandable part, allowing the second expandable part to expand in the cyst while the alimentary canal wall is pressed by the first expandable part in the expanded state.
