A rear part structure of a vehicle is disclosed which includes a groove formed in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle at a junction portion of a roof panel and a side frame of the vehicle and in which a hinge is attached for a tailgate to be installed at a rear part of the vehicle. The hinge includes a hinge base member attached into the groove, a gate hinge member attached to the tailgate which is pivotally attached to the hinge base member, and a cover which is fitted in the groove to conceal the hinge base member from view.

Provided is a vehicle front body structure comprising a port device () received in a housing () and mounted to a vehicle body under a front hood (). Provided is a vehicular door including a load transfer member. The transfer member body has a lower region whose surface on a door-outer-panel side abuts on, or comes close to, the inner surface of the door outer panel, and an inclined region whose door-outer-panel side surface is inclined to come apart from the door outer panel and whose surface on a door-inner-panel side abuts on, or comes close to, the inner surface of the door inner panel. The thickness of the lower region and the inclined region in a door-thickness direction is set narrower than the width of an insertion portion between the door inner panel and a door beam.

Vehicular door

A garnish for a vehicle, which has a long form made of a resin material, and is attached to a member of the body of the vehicle. A recessed portion having a substantially U-shaped section is integrally formed at an edge of a main body of the garnish in the longitudinal direction thereof, and continuously formed along the length of the main body. Typically, the edge of the main body in the longitudinal direction is attached to the body of the vehicle substantially horizontally; and the recessed portion is formed at the upper edge of the main body of the garnish when the main body is attached to the body of the vehicle. Preferably, the recessed portion has a bottom wall, which has a thin part having a smaller thickness in comparison with the other parts of the recessed portion.

An open-close portion structure of a vehicle body includes: an open-close member which opens and closes an opening of the vehicle body; a first hinge member provided on the vehicle body; a second hinge member provided on the open-close member, being pivoted with the first hinge member; and a stretchable stay provided between the vehicle body and the open-close member and biasing the open-close member to open, wherein an end of the stretchable stay is coupled to the second hinge member.

The present invention is a door construction for a vehicle provided with a door main body including an inner panel on a cabin interior side and an outer panel on a cabin exterior side. The inner panel and the outer panel are formed in a concaved-shape when viewed from the cabin interior side; a hemming flange is provided on a periphery of the inner panel, which is to be turned onto the outer panel; and the inner panel and the outer panel are joined with each other by joining the hemming flange onto the cabin exterior side of the outer panel by a hemming.

In the present frame structure of a trunk lid: the trunk lid has an outer panel and an inner panel, and is formed such that its cross-section is approximately L-shaped, with a top face part and a rear face part; left and right hinge installation sections are provided, and a lock installation section is provided in the left to right center of the rear face part; left and right beading parts are provided on the inner panel; and fastening parts of hinge arms are arranged diagonally along the lengthwise direction of the left and right beading parts.

A hatchback door structure for vehicles which includes an inner panel arranged on an inner side of a vehicle; and an outer panel arranged on an outer side of the vehicle, wherein the inner panel includes a frame which has a shape outlining an outer shape of the hatchback door, and a pair of stiffening ribs which is integrally formed with the frame and extends approximately in a V-shape to both side portions of the frame from a bottom side of the frame. Powered tailgate system

An automatic opening and closing device including: a trunk lid; a drive unit which generates drive force for operating the opening and closing member; a hinge arm which is mounted between a rear fender and wheel house inner panel and the trunk lid; and a first link and a second link which transmit the drive force of the drive unit to the trunk lid. The drive unit is fitted to an edge portion of a trunk room aperture portion, and the first and second link are provided so as to straddle the hinge arm.

Automatic opening and closing device

Provided is a power actuator system for actuating a closure member () such as a trunk lid which is compact in size and has a minimized protrusion. A first link () is connected to an output shaft of a powered actuator (), and a free end of the first link is connected to an end of a second link (). The other end of the second link is pivotally connected to a hinge arm () which is fixedly attached to a closure member and pivotally supports the closure member to a fixed part such as a vehicle body. The first link is adapted to extend substantially from the output shaft towards the closure member as the first link swing around the output shaft, and the second link extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the center line.

An opening switch for an opening and closing body includes a switch base having a first substrate and a second substrate which are put together in a manner such that inner faces of the substrates face each other and outer faces of the substrates are outer faces of the switch base; a main switch body provided on the outer face of the first substrate; a lever portion which is provided on the inner face of the first substrate and passes the second substrate through a through hole; and a flange portion for preventing an over stroke of the lever portion.
