The flow path switching device includes: a bodyincluding an outer cylinderhaving four portsand a plughaving two arc-shaped tunnel-like flow pathseach connecting adjacent two of four openingsformed in a side surface of the plug. The plugis rotatable between a first position and a second position, the first position being a position in which one of the flow pathsconnects adjacent two of the four portsand the other flow pathconnects the remaining two ports, and the second position being a position in which each of the flow paths connects adjacent two of the portswhich are not connected when the plugis located at the first position.

A connector () is provided with a holding component (), a support component (), a terminal () electrically connected to a contact of a guide wire () held by the holding component (), and a guide component () rotatable around an axial line (A) of the guide wire () with respect to the support component (). The holding component () is provided with a body () having an insertion hole () for the guide wire () and a holding piece () extending along an axial line of the insertion hole () from the body () and capable of being elastically deformed inward in a radial direction with respect to the axial line. The guide component () has a guide surface () guiding the holding piece () inward in the radial direction. The holding component () is slid along the axis line of the insertion hole () with respect to the guide component (), whereby the holding piece abuts on the guide surface () to be elastically deformed inward in the radial direction.

A needle assembly includes a needle hole having an inside diameter that is greater than an outside diameter of a needle, and by a moving-side guide integrally provided to a needle tip cover being engaged with a fixed-side guide fixedly provided to the needle, a guide mechanism is provided to guide the needle tip cover from a proximal end side towards a distal end side of the needle while maintaining a state of noncontact with the needle, and to guide the needle tip cover to a position where the needle tip cover covers the needle tip while deviating the needle tip cover in a direction in which the needle hole goes away from a center axis of the needle at a position beyond the needle tip, and avoiding contact of the needle tip with the needle hole.
