A brake hydraulic pressure control device for a vehicle in which operation of a hydraulic pressure adjustment unit that can carry out adjustment involving individually increasing/decreasing brake hydraulic pressures applied to wheel brakes for front and rear wheels is controlled for allowing differential pressure between brake hydraulic pressures of the left and right wheel brakes, wherein allowable differential pressure setting means is arranged for setting the allowable differential pressure corresponding to the coefficient of friction of a road surface, hydraulic pressure acquisition means acquires a lock hydraulic pressure, which is a hydraulic pressure when starting anti-lock brake control for the respective wheel brake, and when the lock hydraulic pressure of the wheel brakes for the front wheels acquired by the hydraulic pressure acquisition means is no greater than a predetermined value, application of the allowable differential pressure corresponding to the coefficient of friction of the road surface is prohibited.

Brake hydraulic pressure control device for vehicle

A vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus includes a wheel speed acquiring section, a vehicle body deceleration calculator, and a switch section. The wheel speed acquiring section is configured to acquire a wheel speed from a wheel speed sensor. The vehicle body deceleration calculator is configured to calculate a vehicle body deceleration. The switch section is configured to switch control from the regenerative cooperation control to the hydraulic pressure control, based on (i) a wheel deceleration which is determined based on the wheel speed and (ii) the vehicle body deceleration. The vehicle body deceleration calculator is configured to calculate the vehicle body deceleration based on a required deceleration which corresponds to a driver's operation of a braking pedal.

Vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus

One embodiment provides a vehicle brake hydraulic controller including a wheel speed acquiring section; a wheel deceleration calculator; a vehicle velocity calculator; and a locking tendency determination section. The vehicle velocity calculator calculates a vehicle deceleration based on a temporary vehicle deceleration corresponding to an acceleration sensor value and calculates a vehicle velocity based on the calculated vehicle deceleration. The vehicle velocity calculator calculates the temporary vehicle deceleration by offsetting a first correction amount to a deceleration side in relation to the acceleration sensor value. When a brake pedal operation amount by a driver is equal to or smaller than a first threshold and that an absolute value of the wheel deceleration is equal to or larger than an absolute value of a second threshold are met, the first correction amount is set to be smaller than when the conditions are not met.

Vehicle brake hydraulic controller

Embodiments disclose a vehicle brake fluid pressure controller. The controller includes: a normally-open proportional solenoid valve provided in a hydraulic passage extending from a hydraulic pressure source to a wheel brake; a normally-closed solenoid valve provided in a hydraulic passage extending from the wheel brake to the hydraulic pressure source; an antilock brake control module configured to perform an antilock brake control for suppressing the locking of a wheel by performing a pressure increase control, a pressure decrease control and a pressure holding control for a hydraulic pressure of the wheel brake, using the normally-open proportional solenoid valve and the normally-closed solenoid valve.

Vehicle brake fluid pressure controller

A vehicle brake fluid pressure control apparatus controls operations of a fluid pressure adjusting unit capable of performing adjustment of individually increasing and decreasing brake fluid pressures acting respectively on wheel brakes for front wheels and wheel brakes for rear wheels to be within allowable differential pressures allowable between the brake fluid pressures of the wheel brakes for the left and right coaxial front wheels and the left and right coaxial rear wheels. In the apparatus, estimated vehicle body deceleration calculator calculates an estimated vehicle body deceleration of a vehicle and allowable differential pressure setting device sets the allowable differential pressures matching a road surface friction coefficient based on the estimated vehicle body deceleration calculated by the estimated vehicle body deceleration calculator. This enables accurate judgment of a road surface having a high friction coefficient and setting of sufficiently large allowable differential pressures.

Vehicle brake fluid pressure control apparatus

A vehicle brake fluid pressure control apparatus controls operations of a fluid pressure adjusting unit capable of performing adjustment of individually increasing and decreasing brake fluid pressures acting respectively on wheel brakes for front wheels and wheel brakes for rear wheels to be within allowable differential pressures allowable between the brake fluid pressures of the wheel brakes for the left and right coaxial front wheels and the left and right coaxial rear wheels. In the apparatus, a fluid pressure acquiring device acquires a lock fluid pressure of a wheel brake of a wheel coaxial with a wheel being a control target, the lock fluid pressure being a fluid pressure at which pressure decrease by an anti-lock brake control is started. An allowable differential pressure setting device sets the allowable differential pressures matching a road surface friction coefficient on the basis of at least the lock fluid pressure obtained by the fluid pressure acquiring device. The allowable differential pressures stably matching a friction coefficient of a road surface can be thereby obtained.

A vehicle brake fluid pressure control apparatus includes: a controller configured to control fluid pressures in wheel brakes to increase or reduce by controlling normally open electromagnetic valves and normally closed electromagnetic valves, wherein the controller perform: a pressure reducing in a pressure reducing cycle in which a basic pressure reducing control and a gradual pressure control are performed continuously in a case that the controller determines to execute a pressure reducing control with wheel speeds decreasing; a pressure reducing control in a basic pressure reducing amount in the basic pressure reducing control; and a temporary holding control for holding the fluid pressure and a fine pressure reducing control for executing a pressure reducing in an amount smaller than the basic pressure reducing amount in a case that the wheel speeds tend to decrease after the temporary holding control in the gradual pressure reducing control.

A control unitincludes an initial current value calculation unitfor calculating an initial current value when a caliper pressure shifts to a pressure increasing state, a target current value setting unitwhich, when no pressure increasing cycle was performed last time, estimates a road surface friction coefficient, determines a target differential pressure based on the road surface friction coefficient so estimated, and sets a current value corresponding to this target differential pressure as a target current value, and a valve opening amount adjusting unitwhich reduces an energization amount from the initial current value towards the target current value with a predetermined gradient.
