An ignition control apparatus, e.g., for an internal combustion engine, includes a rotational speed calculation unit that calculates a rotational speed of an alternating current generator. A rotor of the alternating current generator is driven to rotate in synchronization with reciprocating motion of a piston of the internal combustion engine. An ignition timing determination unit determines an ignition timing of the internal combustion engine based on the rotational speed calculated by the rotational speed calculation unit. An ignition control unit supplies electric power to an ignition coil such that the internal combustion engine is ignited at the timing determined by the ignition timing determination unit.

Provided is a fuel injection control device that makes it possible to precisely estimate an amount of fuel remaining in an air intake passage at a start-up of an engine, and to precisely set an fuel injection amount during start-up operation. In the fuel injection control device of the present invention, in a process in which the engine is transferred from operation state to a stop state, engine stop information is acquired and stored in a nonvolatile memory, the engine stop information including, at least an information indicating whether the current engine stop is an intended stop accompanied by fuel cutting. During the start-up of the engine, judgement is made as to whether the last engine stop was the intended stop or not, based upon the engine stop information and a fuel injection amount during start-up operation is determined with reference to the result of the judgement.

A driving control device for a fuel pump may include a valve-opening-rate calculating unit and a driving control unit. The valve-opening-rate calculating unit may be configured to calculate an injector valve opening rate. The injector valve opening rate may be an injection time of an injector per unit time. The driving control unit may be configured to set a voltage duty ratio of a driving voltage that should be applied to the fuel pump that supplies fuel in a fuel tank to a fuel pipe communicating with the injector. The driving control unit may be further configured to set the voltage duty ratio to a value that is proportional to the injector valve opening rate calculated via the valve-opening-rate calculating unit.

The control device includes a microcomputer which controls operation of the internal combustion engine, a power regulator which outputs a direct current regulated voltage regulated from electric power of the AC generator, a 5V regulator which receives an output from the power regulator and supplies it to the microcomputer; a first capacitor with a small capacity connected to an output of the power regulator, plural second capacitors connected in parallel with the first capacitor; and plural opening and closing means connected in series to the plural second capacitors, respectively. The opening and closing means are controlled to be opened and closed by the microcomputer so that the second capacitors are charged when the output of the power regulator has reached an ON voltage below the regulated voltage.

A battery-less fuel injection system, provided with an injector for injecting fuel supplied to an engine, a fuel pump for supplying fuel to the injector, and an ECU for controlling the injector, wherein a fuel pressure sensor for detecting the fuel pressure given to the injector is provided, and the ECU controls the fuel injection in the process of starting the engine, so that execution of fuel injection is suspended when the fuel pressure detected by the fuel pressure sensor is a set pressure or less, until it is confirmed that the detected fuel pressure has exceeded the set pressure.

An engine ignition control device comprising: a start-up ignition controller having a function for preventing the occurrence of kickback by either delaying an ignition position of an engine or stopping ignition; start-up rotation angle detection means for detecting a rotation angle of a crankshaft of the engine after initiation of a start-up operation of the engine; and switching means for switching control specifics of the start-up ignition controller in accordance with the detected start-up rotation angle so that when the detected start-up rotation angle is less than a set angle, there is created a kickback-preventive effect within a range at which engine startability is not compromised, and when the detected start-up rotation angle is equal to or greater than the set angle, there is created a kickback-preventive effect that is greater than the kickback-preventive effect for when the start-up rotation angle is equal to or less than the set angle.

An engine fuel injection control device including: means for detecting an amount of change per minimal time in intake pipe pressure of an engine as an intake pipe pressure change amount; means for performing an arithmetical operation of calculating an opening area of an orifice from a relationship between a mass flow rate of gas and the intake pipe pressure change amount in a process for the intake pipe pressure to increase after an intake valve of the engine is closed, the gas flowing through said orifice by a difference in pressure on both sides of the orifice when a throttle valve is regarded as the orifice; and means for estimating the opening area of the orifice as an opening area of the throttle valve to arithmetically operate an acceleration increase correction value of injection time based on the estimated opening area; and means for correcting an injection amount in acceleration of the engine using the arithmetically operated acceleration increase correction value.

An engine driven vehicle having a function of supplying power to an external load from a generator driven by an engine that is operated in a power generation mode while the vehicle is stopped, including: throttle position determination means for determining whether a throttle valve is placed closer to an acceleration side than a normal position in the power generation mode while the engine is operated in the power generation mode; and safety engine control means for conducting a control to prevent the engine from being operated at a higher speed than a set speed limit when the determination means determines that the throttle valve is placed closer to the acceleration side than the normal position in the power generation mode.
