A door opening and closing apparatus for a vehicle, includes a latch mechanism adapted so as to retain a vehicle door in a closed state relative to a vehicle body, an outside lever provided within a space formed inside of the vehicle door so as to be positioned closer to an interior of the vehicle and linked to an outside handle adapted to be rotatably supported by the vehicle door, a detection switch detecting an operation to the outside handle when the outside lever contacts the detection switch in response to an operation of the outside lever, and a release device releasing a retention of the vehicle door in the closed state by means of the latch mechanism by the release device actuating the latch mechanism when a rotational operation of the outside handle is detected by the detection switch while the vehicle door is in a locked state.

Door opening and closing apparatus for vehicle

A drive device is provided with a housingand an electromagnetic clutch mechanismaccommodated in the housing. The electromagnetic clutch mechanismis provided with an armaturerotatably supported in the housing, a rotorarranged to face the armatureand rotatably supported in the housing, and a coil. An annular magnetis fixed on the outer circumference surface of the rotor. A sensorarranged inside the housingdetects a polarity change of the magnetin association with rotation of the rotor. The magnetis provided with an annular wall portionextending toward the armaturebeyond a surface on which the armatureis in contact with the rotorwith respect to the axial direction. The annular wall portionis spaced radially outward from the armature. The annular wall portionprevents abrasion powder produced on actuation of the electromagnetic clutch mechanismfrom being scattered.

Drive device

An arm structure includes a first arm pivotally supported on a body, and a second arm pivotally supported on the first arm at an axis portion formed on a distal end side of the first arm. A wire harness fixing portion for fixing a wire harness is provided at a distal end side of the second arm. A guide portion having a curved face for guiding the wire harness is provided at an end portion at an end side of the second arm, the end side being opposite to the distal end side. A width of the guide portion is larger than a width of a portion of the second arm corresponding to the axis portion, in a width direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the second arm.

Arm structure

A link arm is rotatably supported by a rotating shaft along a protector base, and urged in a harness-slack-absorbing direction by a torsion coil spring. A wiring harness is fixed to a harness-holding member at a tip end of the link arm and to a harness-fixing portion of the protector base, and routed flexibly between the harness-holding member and the harness-fixing portion via between the protector base and an opposite wall of the link arm opposite to the protector base.

Power supplying system for a sliding structure

A power supply apparatus for a slidable structure which extends longitudinally, including: a pivotably-supported ring arm; a wiring harness having one end portion fixed to a tip portion of the ring arm and the other end portion fixed to a stationary structure; and an elastic member configured to bias the ring arm in a forward and upward direction. The ring arm is moved or rotated in a backward and downward direction while elastically deforming the elastic member due to tensile force of the wiring harness, when the slidable structure is moved forward toward its fully closed state. Also, the ring arm is moved or rotated in a forward and upward direction due to restoring force of the elastic member, when the slidable structure is moved backward toward its fully open state.

Power supply apparatus for slidable structure

A power-supplying system for a sliding structure includes: a protector cover having a base plate and a flange-shaped peripheral wall; a link arm rotatably supported along the base plate in the protector cover, and supporting a wiring harness at a top end side of a rotation; and an elastic member urging the link arm in a harness slack absorbing direction. The power-supplying system is disposed in the sliding structure. The protector cover is fixed to a panel of the sliding structure. An opening of the protector cover facing the base plate at a rear side is covered by the panel. The wiring harness is guided out from an oblong opening interposed between the protector cover and the panel toward a fixing structure.

A power feeding apparatus for a slidable structural body includes a link arm which is provided on one of the slidable structural body and a fixed structural body so as to be pivotally moved in a harness surplus length-absorbing direction of a wire harness, a harness holding member which is provided on a distal end side of the link arm so as to be pivotally moved in a harness pulling direction of the wire harness, and a harness fixing portion provided on the other of the slidable structural body and the fixed structural body, and wire harness is installed to extend from the harness holding member to the harness fixing portion.

Power feeding apparatus for slidable structural body

A power feeding device for a slide structure, which includes a link arm turnably provided to one of a slide structure and a fixed structure in a direction to absorb a surplus length of a wire harness, and a harness holding portion provided to a top end side of the link arm. The wire harness is provided from the harness holding portion to a harness fixing portion of the other of the slide structure and the fixed structure, is employed. The link arm is energized by a resilient member. A harness guide is provided along the link arm, and an electric wire portion of the wire harness is provided along the harness guide so as to have a surplus length. A frame-like guide case into which the wire harness is inserted in a turning direction of the link arm is provided.

A feeding structure for a sliding structural body includes: a protector base arranged in one of the sliding structural body and a stationary structural body; a link arm pivotally supported by a shaft portion of the protector base; a harness holder pivotally connected to an end portion of the link arm; and a wire harness which is laid from one end of the protector base to the harness holder so as to be bent in a substantial S-shape, and laid from the harness holder to the other of the sliding structural body and the stationary structural body so as to be moved therebetween.

D.C. motor

A disk-shaped and coreless type electric motor for controlling the tilt of a throttle valve. The motor includes a field magnet having at least one pair of N and S poles and a stator armature having at least one set of coils disposed in face-to-face confronting relation to the magnet. The shaft of the motor is coupled directly to the shaft carrying the throttle valve, the latter shaft being urged by a spring toward a position where the valve throttles off the passage of air. The coil is so positioned relatively to the N and S poles of the magnet that when the coil is excited, any conductor portions thereof can act effectively to develop torque to rotate the magnet.

Electric motor operated throttle valve

An electric motor for controlling the tilt of a throttle valve is disclosed. A rotatable field magnet having at least two pairs of N and S poles is mounted on a rotary shaft carrying the throttle valve for rotation relative to a disk-shaped stator yoke having at least one armature coil formed therearound. The coil includes a first toroidal windings of conductor effective for the development of torque wound in one direction and a second toroidal windings of conductor similarly effective for the development of torque wound in the other direction and disposed away from said first toroidal windings of conductor circumferentially of the stator yoke at an angular interval which is equal to about 2n-1 times the pole-to-pole interval of said magnet, said first and second windings being electrically connected to each other. The first and second windings of conductor are phase shifted in spaced-apart relation to each other. Further, a spring is provided which act to urge the rotatable shaft in the direction which will cause the throttle valve to tilt to its 'closed' position.

Electric motor

A speed range control system setting an automatic transmission at a proper speed range in accordance with throttle opening and vehicle traveling speed. The system detects a sudden fall in the level of a vehicle speed signal under the anomalous conditions such as disconnection of a vehicle speed signal line or slippage of wheels due to emergency braking, and then sets the automatic transmission at a safety speed range. After setting at the safety speed range, the speed range of the automatic transmission is set in accordance with the throttle opening and vehicle traveling speed after counting a predetermined number of vehicle speed signal pulses generated in conjunction with rotation of a drive shaft.
