A vehicle brake system includes a first fluid pressure generating device for generating a fluid pressure according to a brake operating amount, a second fluid pressure generating device for generating a fluid pressure by moving a piston with an electric actuator, and a switching valve switchable between a first state allowing communication between the first fluid pressure generating device and a vehicle behavior stabilizing device and a second state allowing communication between the second fluid pressure generating device and the vehicle behavior stabilizing device. A control device places the switching valve in the second state during execution of automatic brake control, and places the switching valve in the first state when a predetermined abnormality occurs in the vehicle, except that the control device places the switching valve in the second state when an abnormality including inability of the second fluid pressure generating device to generate the fluid pressure occurs.

Vehicle brake system

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle brake system having a high degree of mounting freedom. The present vehicle brake system is configured in such a manner that an input device into which braking operation of the operator is inputted and a motor cylinder device which generates hydraulic brake pressure on the basis of an electric signal according to at least the braking operation are disposed so as to be separated from each other in the engine room partitioned in front of the dashboard. The vehicle brake system is characterized in that the input device is disposed behind a power device in such a manner that at least a part of the input device overlaps the power device in the front-rear direction.

A bracket () is installed in an engine room () of a vehicle () for supporting accessories (). The bracket () includes: an upper anchoring portion () and a lower anchoring portion () each for anchoring the bracket () to the vehicle body (); and a first supporting portion () and a second supporting portion () for securing the accessories () thereto, respectively. The lower anchoring portion () is located below the upper anchoring portion (). The first supporting portion () extends vertically between the upper anchoring portion () and the lower anchoring portion (). The second supporting portion () extends from the upper anchoring portion () and is horizontally opposed to the first supporting portion (). The upper anchoring portion (), the lower anchoring portion (), the first supporting portion (), and the second supporting portion () form an integrated body.
