A cylinder head includes: an exhaust port configured to lead out exhaust gas from combustion chamber; an intake port configured to introduce fresh air into the combustion chamber; and an EGR gas passage in which EGR gas flows, wherein exhaust outlets of the exhaust port and an EGR gas inlet of the second EGR pipe are located on a first side of the cylinder head and, and a fresh air inlet communicated to the intake port and an EGR gas outlet of the EGR gas passage are located on a second side which is opposite from the first side.

A cylinder head includes: an exhaust port configured to lead out exhaust gas from combustion chamber; an intake port configured to introduce fresh air into the combustion chamber; an intake air aggregate part configured to aggregate the intake port; and a second EGR pipe in which EGR gas flows, wherein exhaust outlets of the exhaust port and an EGR gas inlet of the second EGR pipe are arranged side-by-side on a flat left side surface, and a fresh air inlet of the intake air aggregate part and an EGR gas outlet of the second EGR pipe are arranged side-by-side on a flat right side surface.

A cylinder head includes: a plurality of exhaust ports configured to lead out exhaust gas from combustion chambers; a plurality of intake ports configured to introduce fresh air into the combustion chambers; an intake air aggregate part configured to aggregate the plurality of intake ports; and a second EGR pipe in which EGR gas flows, wherein exhaust outlets of the plurality of exhaust ports and an EGR gas inlet of the second EGR pipe are arranged side-by-side on a flat left side surface, and a fresh air inlet of the intake air aggregate part and an EGR gas outlet of the second EGR pipe are arranged side-by-side on a flat right side surface.

An engine apparatus that utilizes a gas pressure regulation valve not only for pressure adjustment but also for removal of lubricant. An engine apparatus includes a blow-by gas returning device to return a leakage of blow-by gas from a combustion chamber to an intake system. The engine apparatus includes an expansion chamber, into which the blow-by gas is introduced from the gas pressure regulation valve. In the expansion chamber, lubricant contained in the blow-by gas is isolated. The blow-by gas is returned to an intake side of an engine from the expansion chamber.

Engine apparatus with blow-by gas handling device

In detection of a temperature of fresh air which is supplied to an intake manifold of an engine, by a fresh air temperature sensor, the invention aims at preventing precision of an engine control from dropping due to difference in an attached position of the fresh air temperature sensor. The engine device has an intake pipe for supplying fresh air to the intake manifold, a breather chamber for separating lubricating oil, the breather chamber being arranged within a head cover covering an upper surface side of a cylinder head, and a blow-by gas return pipe. The intake pipe and the breather chamber are connected via the blow-by gas return pipe. The fresh air temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the fresh air introduced into the intake pipe is attached to the intake pipe.

Engine exhaust gas purification device

An engine includes a head cover covering an upper part of a cylinder head to accommodate a valve gear mechanism and an injector. The head cover is separatable into a lower cover body and an upper cover body detachable from and attachable to the lower cover body. The lower cover body includes a fuel pipe and a relay connector. Through the fuel pipe, fuel is supplied to the injector. The fuel pipe penetrates through the lower cover body. The relay connector is configured to relay power supply from outside the head cover. The relay connector is attached to the lower cover body. One end side of an injector harness disposed in the head cover is coupled to a terminal portion of the injector. Another end side of the injector harness is coupled to the relay connector.
