A vehicle roof structure has a roof panel and a roof side rail joined at a joint part that extends substantially in a vehicle body front-rear direction, and a recessed groove which opens to an upper side of the vehicle body and extends substantially along the vehicle body front-rear direction is provided in an upper part of the joint part. The roof side rail has a rail main part that is disposed on an outer side in a vehicle width direction of the roof panel across the joint part, and a rail extension part that extends forward from a front end part of the rail main part. The rail extension part is provided with a glass-receiving part that is disposed to be offset to the outer side in the vehicle width direction from the joint part when viewed from above, and receives the upper end side part of the windshield glass. The rail main part has a rail main face that forms the outer surface of the vehicle, and a shelf face that is provided in the front end part of the rail main face to be recessed downward, and to which a lower face of the side end part of the windshield upper molding abuts.

Vehicle roof structure

This vehicle is provided with: a window opening and a secondary window opening, which are formed adjacent to each other in a vehicle body; a window panel for covering the window opening; a secondary window panel for covering the secondary window opening; and a wiper device for wiping both the window panel and the secondary window panel. The wiper device is provided with a wiper blade that is capable of passing over a boundary between the window panel and the secondary window panel to continuously wipe from the window panel to the secondary window panel.

Vehicle

An on-vehicle multidirectional visual-recognition device includes a first visual-recognition mechanism including a front door window and a door mirror of a door mirror mechanism. A second visual-recognition mechanism includes a first mirror provided in a door-mirror housing of the door mirror mechanism so as to show a range from a side of a vehicle including an area below the door mirror mechanism to a front side of the vehicle. A sub window transmits light reflected by the first mirror and extends continuously from the front door window toward the front side of the vehicle via a frame. A second mirror reflects the light transmitted through the sub window toward a vehicle occupant. Brightness of the light to be received by the vehicle occupant is set substantially equal to brightness of the light at the first visual-recognition mechanism.

On-vehicle multidirectional visual-recognition device

Provided is a device for viewing a front-lateral area of a vehicle. A front-lateral viewing device () comprises a mirror body () of a door mirror (), a mirror housing (), a first reflection mirror () which is provided in the mirror () and which reflects a desired range from a front area to a lateral area with respect to a side portion () of a vehicle body, and a second reflection mirror () which reflects light from the first reflection mirror () toward a vehicle occupant. The mirror housing () has a recess () where a front surface () is inwardly recessed. The first reflection mirror () is provided in the recess (). A blinker () is provided at a position spaced from an outer end () of the first reflection mirror () at a predetermined distance.

Device for viewing front-lateral area of vehicle

An apparatus for viewing an oblique forward area of a vehicle whereby light incident from outside a passenger compartment is prevented from reflecting. The apparatus includes a sub-window pane supported by a front pillar and a sub-pillar, a mirror housing of a door mirror for displaying a rear of the vehicle, and a first reflective mirror for displaying an area in front and to one side of the vehicle. The first reflective mirror is provided to the mirror housing. The apparatus also includes a second reflective mirror for reflecting the light reflected by the first reflective mirror toward a driver. The sub-window pane is disposed further toward the outside in a vehicle widthwise direction than a line passing over cross-sectional vehicle-widthwise direction centers of the front pillar and the sub-pillar. An outside edge of the second reflective mirror is positioned in the vicinity of the sub-window pane.
