A sintered gear comprises: plural tooth portion having a tooth flank and a tooth bottom land; a high density area formed over entire surface of the tooth portion, the high density area having a density of 7.6 Mg/mor more and formed with a depth of 1 mm or more from the surface; a low density area formed in deeper area than the high density area, the low density area having a density of 7.3 Mg/mor less; and an intermediate area formed between the high density area and the low density area, the intermediate area having a density gradient in which the density is gradually decreased from the high density area to the low density area.

Production method for sintered gear

Disclosed is a sintered gear composed of a sintered alloy having a metal matrix and pores. The tooth surface () of the tooth and the bottom land () have a densified layer () in which the porosity is reduced to 10% or less from the sintered alloy. The densified layer at the tooth surface is formed with a thickness of 300 to 1,000 microns, and the densified layer at the bottom land is formed with a thickness of 10 to 300 microns. The boundary surface of the densified layer is continuous from the tooth surface side to the bottom land side so as not to have a substantial level difference.

A permanent magnet type rotor comprises an inner memberhaving an outer ring portion; an approximately annular outer memberhaving soft magnetism and an inner circumference contacting with an outer circumference of the outer ring portion; and plural permanent magnetsdisposed at equal intervals on the outer circumference of the outer member toward the circumferential direction. At least one of the inner memberand the outer memberis made from a sintered material, and the inner memberand the outer memberare mutually sintered and bonded. Thickness and weight of a dynamotor itself can be reduced and high output and high efficiency can be achieved.
