A straddle vehicle includes a headlight and a first wind-receiving surface. The headlight emits light forward. The first wind-receiving surface is disposed below and adjacent to the headlight and provided so that it is positioned higher as it approaches rearward.

A straddle vehicle includes a vehicle body, a headlamp main body, and a driver circuit. The driver circuit drives the headlamp main body. The headlamp main body includes a housing that accommodates a light emission member. The driver circuit is disposed outside the housing.

A grip heater device includes a display unit provided at a grip and including a first light source and a second light source, and a controller including an electric power control section which controls an amount of electric power to be supplied to the heater in response to an operation of a temperature adjustment member, and a light source control section which controls the first light source and the second light source. The display unit is configured to perform: a first color display, a second color display, and a third color display. The light source control section causes the display unit to perform a temperature display with a blinking pattern corresponding to an amount of the electric power supplied to the heater, by use of the first color display, the second color display, or the third color display, in response to the operation of the temperature adjustment member.

Provided is a motorcycle incorporating a supercharger which can prevent an increase in a size of a vehicle body. A motorcycle comprises a supercharger which compresses intake air; an air-intake chamber which is placed downstream of the supercharger, stores the intake air compressed in the supercharger, and guides the intake air from the air-intake chamber to a combustion chamber of an engine; a fuel tank placed above the engine, wherein the air-intake chamber is placed between the fuel tank and the engine, and wherein the fuel tank includes a recess-forming section provided with a recess on a bottom surface of the fuel tank in such a manner that the bottom surface of the fuel tank does not interfere with the air-intake chamber.

Motorcycle incorporating a supercharger

A wireless authentication device for a saddle-type vehicle performs authentication through wireless communication with a mobile terminal carried by a user. The wireless authentication device for a saddle-type vehicle includes a first operating input device, a light-emitting and notification part, and a controller. The first operating input device receives an operation of switching to a state in which a power engine is capable of being started. The light-emitting and notification part is provided in the first operating input device or in a portion surrounding the first operating input device, and performs a light-emitting and notification operation in which light is emitted to notify a user that authentication has succeeded. The controller determines whether authentication has succeeded through wireless communication with a mobile terminal, and if the authentication has been determined to have succeeded, causes the light-emitting and notification part to perform the light-emitting and notification operation.

Wireless authentication device for saddle-type vehicle

A motorcycle includes a fuel tank, a vehicle body frame, a pair of front forks, and a canister. The fuel tank contains gasoline therein. The vehicle body frame supports the fuel tank. The pair of front forks are placed spaced apart from each other in a vehicle width direction to support a front wheel from both sides in the vehicle width direction such that the front wheel is rotatable, and mounted to the vehicle body frame such that the pair of front forks are rotatable around a head pipe. The canister adsorbs gasoline contained in a gasoline vapor present inside the fuel tank and supplies the gasoline to an engine. The canister is placed inward in the vehicle width direction relative to the pair of front forks when viewed from a front, and in front of an engine when viewed from a side.

A display device for a saddle-type vehicle includes a display-form change operation input device, a preset switching operation input device, and a vehicle-information display device. The display-form change operation input device receives an operation for changing a display form. The preset switching operation input device receives an operation for switching a display form to a preset screen set in advance. The vehicle-information display device displays information about a saddle-type vehicle to enable a driver to recognize the information. This display device sets a display form of the vehicle-information display device in accordance with an operation for changing a display form received via the display-form change operation input device, and switches the display form of the vehicle-information display device to the preset screen if an operation for switching a display form to the preset screen is received via the preset switching operation input device.

A wireless authentication device includes a first operating input device, a locking mechanism, and a controller. The first operating input device receives an operation of a power engine to a startable state by being shifted from a first position to a second position. The locking mechanism switches between locked and unlocked states, the locked state being a state that restricts the shift of the first operating input device from the first position to the second position, and the unlocked state being a state that allows the first operating input device to shift from the first position to the second position. The controller determines whether the mobile terminal is lost through wireless communication with the mobile terminal, and if the power engine has stopped while the mobile terminal has been determined to have been lost, performs processing for keeping the locking mechanism in the unlocked state during a restartable period.

A straddle-type vehicle includes a front cowling covering a front portion of a vehicle body; and an aerodynamic device including an aerodynamic force generating section which generates a downforce by air flowing in a rearward direction along an upper surface of the front cowling, and the aerodynamic force generating section is placed to overlap with the upper surface of the front cowling, when viewed from above.

Provided is a vehicle body frame structure which can reduce a burden in assembly of a straddle-type vehicle. The structure comprises a head pipe; and a pair of main frames extending rearward from the head pipe and outward in a vehicle width direction such that the main frames are spaced apart from each other in the vehicle width direction. Rear portions of the pair of main frames are detachably coupled to each other in the vehicle width direction via a coupling member. The pair of main frames include a pair of front frame members including respective first mounts to which a drive unit of the vehicle is mounted, and a pair of respective rear frame members located rearward relative to the front frame members. The pair of rear frame members have a stiffness lower than that of the front frame members in the vehicle width direction.

A straddle-type vehicle comprises a vehicle body frame; an axle which is rotatable integrally with a wheel; a swing arm having a front end portion pivotably mounted to the vehicle body frame, and a rear end portion to which the axle is rotatably mounted; a first coupling member to which rotational driving power from a driving source is transmitted is coaxially, rotatably mounted to the axle via a bearing; and a second coupling member coaxial with the axle and including a joining portion non-rotatably joined to the axle, a fitting portion fitted to the first coupling member via a buffering member, and a coupling portion for coupling the joining portion to the fitting portion, wherein the coupling portion is placed axially outward relative to the first coupling member, and the joining portion extends from axially outside between the first coupling member and the axle.

A component mounting structure of a vehicle comprises a frame assembly having a recess which is recessed in a predetermined direction; an intermediate section accommodated in the recess and removably fastened to the frame assembly; and a mounting member used to mount a first adjacent component adjacent to the frame assembly to the frame assembly, and the mounting member includes a connection element connected to the intermediate section in an inner space of the recess and a support element which is continuous with the connection element and supports the first adjacent component in a state in which the connection element is exposed outside through an opening of the recess.

The vehicle body frame comprises a main frame; and a rear frame connected to and extending rearward from the main frame. The main frame includes first and second members which are connected to each other. The main frame includes first and second connection portions spaced apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to a vehicle width direction. The connection portions are provided at the first member and the second member, respectively. The rear frame includes a first connected portion connected to the first connection portion by a first fastener member, and a second connected portion connected to the second connection portion by a second fastener member. The restricting direction of the first fastener member is orthogonal to the restricting direction of the second fastener member.
