A package may have a sensor that detects the opening of the package. Upon detecting the opening of the package, a device associated with the sensor transmits a signal to a web server. The web server may take various actions in response to the receipt of the signal. In addition, a package may have a lock that prevents the package from readily being opened until a preset time. In addition, the package may be equipped with a device capable of automatically opening the cover of the package upon being unlocked.

Techniques and systems described herein locate possibly-significant portions of electronic documents. In some examples, gaze movements, e.g., of users' eyes, are tracked while the users read a formatted version of an electronic document. The gaze movement may be analyzed to determine if a reading interruption occurs (e.g., a reading pause or irregularity in a regular reading rate for the user). The reading interruption may occur when the user, while reading, encounters or notices a problem or point of interest in the text. A reading location associated with the reading interruption may be determined in text that is currently displayed. The reading location may be mapped to a location in a standard version of the document. The location may be reported to a centralized entity where statistical analysis can be performed to determine if there is a problem in the document.

Techniques are described for delivering electronic literary content in a way that adjusts the reading level of the content for the reader while maintaining the overall story context. The adjustment may be made in response to a request by a user or automatically without any user intervention.

Techniques for modifying the complexity of literary content

The techniques and systems described herein track gaze movement of a user while eyes of the user read a document on a computing device. The techniques may then analyze or evaluate the gaze movement to determine if a reading interruption occurs (e.g., a reading pause or irregularity in a regular reading rate for the user). The reading interruption may occur when the user, while reading, encounters or notices a problem in the text. The reading interruption may also occur when the user encounters or notices text that the user has a strong interest in. When the reading interruption occurs, the techniques may evaluate a gaze direction and associate the reading interruption with a text that is currently displayed (e.g., word, sentence, paragraph, page, etc.). Moreover, the techniques may map the displayed text to a location in the document (e.g., a page or other identifiable section), and report the location to a centralized entity where statistical analysis can be performed to determine if there is a problem in the document.

The techniques and systems described herein place product information at a location in digital content where an existing object occurs. The techniques may select the product information based on profile data indicative of interests of a user viewing the digital content. Accordingly, the techniques may identify existing objects in the digital content before the user begins viewing the digital content. The techniques may also receive or access product information to be placed in the digital content. The product information may include identifiable brands, products, or services. Then, while rendering the digital content before the user begins viewing the digital content or while the user is viewing the digital content, the techniques may select product information to dynamically place into a scene of the digital content at a location where the existing objects occur.
